DanceTrace
Practice, compare & improve
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
DanceTrace is the practice companion for dancers who want to actually improve — not just collect videos.
COMPARE SIDE BY SIDE
Put the teacher's demo next to your own take and watch them play together. DanceTrace can auto-align both clips by the shared music, so you compare the same beat — not a half-second off.
PRACTICE SMARTER
• A/B loop any tricky section
• Slow down playback to catch the detail
• Mix or isolate audio from either video
• Export a clean before/after comparison to share
KEEP A REAL TRAINING LOG
• Log every class and solo session — studio, teacher, song, difficulty
• Build your own skill library and rate your mastery
• Write quick reflections while it's fresh
SEE YOUR PROGRESS
Weekly training time, session count, mastery trends and dance-style breakdown — so you know you're moving forward.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your videos and records stay on your device. No account required. Works offline.
For hip-hop, K-pop, ballet, jazz, breaking, popping, locking and every style in between.
