Yizo: One step, if it feels right.
Most wellness tools demand consistency, goals, and results. But there are days when the world simply feels too heavy. Days when productivity is not the priority, but emotional survival is. For those moments, there is Yizo.
Yizo is not a conventional self-help app. It is a space for respite designed for those going through states of apathy, burnout, or deep sadness. Here, there are no streaks to maintain, no pressuring notifications, and no targets to hit.
The app provides absolute validation by accepting the current emotional state without judgment. Through five focus areas (Body, Rhythm, Connection, Mind, and Meaning), minimal and realistic micro-steps are presented. These suggestions can be completed, attempted, or simply read. The tone of companionship can also be adjusted based on current needs.
In Yizo, control is absolute. Days, weeks, or months can be skipped without guilt. There is no such thing as failure because there are no expectations to meet. This tool does not promise to fix anything; it simply offers a possible step and respectfully accepts whatever decision is made. Sometimes, knowing that it is okay to go slow is more than enough.
Completely free. No ads or subscriptions. A sanctuary maintained by the kindness of those who choose to support the project.
