WHY IT WORKS
Most Bible apps rely on your motivation. BibleGate creates a simple system: want to scroll? Read first. We keep earned screen time modest on purpose. The goal is more time in God's Word, not more time on your feed. It's not about guilt; it's about putting God first, every day.
The average person will spend 21 years of their life on screens. What if some of that went to Scripture instead?

I absolutely love this incentive to stay consistent in reading the Bible daily because it’s made me realize how important it is to be aware of the little snares in life that so easily can pull me away from what’s most important and that’s starting my day in Gods word. This app has made it fun and I look forward to following a reading plan & the little test at the end is my favorite part!!The test pushes me to really get into the word and not just “read” it, because I really want to retain the Truth. (Plus I love the confetti lol)Great Great app
Best App Blocker Ever
Chaseaph
I’ve tried multiple app blockers and all of them were just kinda meh. Easy to get around permissions and no real incentive to use them. Until I downloaded BibleGate. I absolutely love the fact that I am earning my time on my social media apps instead of starting endlessly at them. I also love how much I am learning by reading the Bible every day and the Grow plans in the app. And it’s not just boring, stuffy reading - the learning is genuinely fun! I’d give this app 10 stars if I could - highly recommend!
Finally, An App Like This

Been using BibleGate and I thoroughly love it and the idea behind it. It helps me be more intentional with my time and put Scripture first before getting distracted by other apps (no more doomscrolling!).Simple, useful, more than effective, and genuinely different from a normal Bible app.
Love the concept, but too limited behind paywall
Nightingale2520
The idea behind this app is great, but it’s hard to fully enjoy it since almost everything requires a subscription. The free tier only gives you about 5 minutes a day for the verse of the day, plus a bit more once a week for the weekly chapter. Beyond that, every way to earn more time is gated behind payment. It’s more for a specific group willing to pay than for just anyone.I came over from BePresent hoping for a fresh challenge, but the lack of any real free path to engage more deeply was disappointing.
Developer Response
Thank you for taking the time to write this ❤️, and for giving BibleGate a try after BePresent. BibleGate exists to help people spend more time in God's Word than on social media, through reading, studies and devotionals. That's why we keep earned screen time modest on purpose. It's a nudge back toward Scripture, not a way to buy more scrolling. Reading the Bible in the app is always free, however much you read. Your feedback is heard, and it helps us decide what to build next. If you'd like to share more, I'd love to hear from you: support@raelegacy.appThe BibleGate team.
Bug fixes and app improvements.
