TorchPhoto 14.2 introduces Memories, a new way to rediscover your photos and videos. 1. New Memories Photos and videos are automatically organized into meaningful periods using their capture dates and locations. Select your country of residence to separate everyday moments from visited countries, then explore collections by country, larger region, and season. Seasonal groupings account for the Northern and Southern Hemispheres, while tropical or uncertain locations use date ranges. You can also revisit “One Year Ago Today,” “On This Day,” and “Around This Time.” 2. Easier, Familiar Exploration Quickly switch between All, Visited Countries, and individual countries. Collections feature changing cover photos and open in the familiar timeline, where you can group items by year, month, or day and choose from 3 to 8 columns. Memories works offline using saved capture information, built-in geographic data, cached thumbnails, and system flag emoji. 3. More Reliable Timeline Navigation Improved date navigation helps photos for the selected year, month, or day appear reliably. Changing date groupings or column counts is also smoother. 4. Better Selection During Directory Search When you press and hold a search result, the search field now moves above the selection controls instead of covering them, making sharing, saving, and other actions easier. 5. Clearer Time Map Stamps Long place names beneath the time can now use up to two lines, improving readability without changing the existing date, time, and map layout.
