Your avatar has a home. Open My avatar from the menu to see it in its own 3D room, with your mic on a stand in the middle. It gets hungry, sleepy and bored as the day goes on, and tells you so. Feed it, put it to bed, have it sing or dance, and furnish the room with a bed, a couch and more. Updates now download quietly in the background, so the app opens on its newest version more often and asks you to restart less. Under the hood the app moves to the latest Expo and React Native.

A new logo. KaraokeHub now glows on your home screen: a neon pink K and blue H, with a microphone in the background. It's the same mark you'll see on the website, on the big screen at the show, and in the app your host runs the night from.

New look. KaraokeHub now wears the same gold KH on your home screen as it does everywhere else — the website, the big screen at the show, and the app your host runs the night from. Also in this release: • Sing it with a friend — pick a duet partner when you put a song in • Karaoke Roulette, for when you cannot decide: ask for it and the wheel lands on something people actually know • Your shows, with the photos from each night • Anyone can add a karaoke show now, not just hosts • Your coin activity is on your profile, so you can see where they went

Staying signed in now actually lasts. Two separate bugs were signing people out after a day or two, on sessions meant to last a year. Both are fixed. Also in this release: • Fixed a crash on the Shows map while zooming, and made the map far lighter to pan around • Requesting a song now opens at full height, instead of sitting behind the keyboard • When something does go wrong it now reaches us — crash reporting had been failing silently, so problems went unnoticed

Stay signed in. The app no longer signs you out when the network drops for a moment, when you open it somewhere with no signal, or while we're shipping an update — only your account actually ending will do that now. Also in this release: • Lock KaraokeHub with your fingerprint or face — turn it on in Settings under Privacy & Security • A hiccup on one device no longer signs you out on the others

Changed your mind while you're waiting? You can now swap your song right up until it's your turn — no need to flag down the DJ or give up your place in line. Also in this release: • The LIVE button shows you the shows happening now, instead of asking for a code • Rotations follow the round being sung, so your spot in line stays where it should • Song requests reliably reach your DJ's queue • Faster joining and steadier live show screens • Your favorites only hold songs your DJ can actually play
