Almostime
Visual Timer for Toddlers
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Almostime is a visual countdown timer designed specifically for toddlers aged 2-4.
As a father of two young children, I realized that traditional timers are too abstract for toddlers. Children don't understand numbers — they need to SEE time passing. Almostime helps families set gentle time boundaries through intuitive visual cues.
FEATURES:
• Adorable animated themes (Car, Turtle, Pizza, Train, Dolphin, Rocket, Airplane, Moon)
• Visual progress that children can understand
• Sticker collection — Earn random stickers after each countdown!
• Custom stickers — Turn your child's favorite photos into collectible stickers
• Parent voice recording — Record your own encouraging words (up to 3 clips, 10 sec each)
• multi users — Set up to 4 users, each has their own self-made stickers and stars collection progress
• Simple one-tap operation
• Dark mode support
PERFECT FOR:
• "5 more minutes of screen time"
• "Brush your teeth until the car reaches the finish line"
• "Time to leave the playground when the pizza is gone"
STICKER REWARDS:
Children love collecting! After each countdown, they earn a random sticker. Create custom stickers from family photos for an extra personal touch. It's a fun motivation system that turns waiting into a game.
PARENT VOICE:
Record your own voice messages — "Great job brushing your teeth!" or "Time's up, let's go!" Your familiar voice plays when the timer ends, making the transition smoother.
No lectures. No stress. Just a friendly way to help little ones understand that time is almost up.
