Apple Music finally plays: with a subscription, Listen on Apple Music now starts the song instead of waiting politely. In Settings, Music platforms lets you pick the services you use, and they get a star on every song page, with every platform still listed. Turn on auto-open and MTShare links jump straight into your favourite, with three seconds to change your mind. Free forever.

Your profile is easier to use. Connected platforms, signed-in devices, appearance, language, Quick Share and your public profile now sit together in Settings. Support/Feedback is one place to get help, send feedback and follow your cases. The tips on the home screen are shorter and clearer. You can turn them off or on in Settings. Free forever.

Mostly apologies this time, and now you can send them back to us. Your bug reports finally go somewhere. They used to arrive at an email address and stop existing. Each one now gets a case number, appears in your profile, and we can reply to it. A red dot tells you when we have. We have stopped signing you out. On a slow connection the app gave up waiting for its new session key, kept the old one and presented that instead, and our own server read it as somebody stealing your account. It was us. Every time. Your public Apple Music playlist is, it turns out, public. We were cutting its address short before asking Apple about it, Apple quite reasonably answered that no such playlist exists, and we passed that on to you as please make it public. You already had. Amazon Music links now open your own country's store, rather than the American one asking you to change country. Free forever.

Sharing after you close the app works again. In 1.1.12, quitting MTShare and then sharing a song opened the app and did nothing at all. Sorry about that; it now waits for your session and then gets on with it. Playlist rows line up again too: a track's card was coming out narrower when the song was on fewer services. Playlist tracks now open the right song, too. Some rows led to a different song by the same artist, usually their most famous one, and the wrong links already out there have been taken down. More playlist tracks get a link of their own as well. Your links and profile no longer flash a login screen while the app wakes up either. Free forever.

Sharing works the instant you open the app. Send a track from Spotify right after MTShare was closed and it goes straight through. It used to ask you to sign in while you were already signed in, and then convert the track anyway. Your links, your profile and your signed in devices no longer flash a login screen while the app wakes up. Free forever.

You stay signed in. Open MTShare weekly, monthly or once a season, and it will not ask you to log in again just because you had a life for a fortnight. You can now see every device your account is signed in on, and sign out of any one of them without touching the rest. Logging out ends the session on the server too, not only on your phone. Free forever.

Likes have arrived. Tap the heart. That is the entire feature: one tap, one number, no star ratings, no "how would you rate your experience". Links people like now climb the trending chart, on the grounds that liking something takes effort and opening it does not. The In Concert banner finally reached album links. Your public page moved somewhere you can actually see it. Long playlists stopped fighting back, too. Somebody converted 1,472 tracks, the app tried to draw all of them at once, and lost. There are now page numbers, a search box and a choice of how many tracks to show. Free forever.

The In Concert banner is here. If the artist is playing live, a banner sits right on the album art: orange for a date near you, green for a tour elsewhere. Tap it and you land straight on the dates, with tickets one tap away. Tapping YouTube Music now opens YouTube Music, not plain YouTube. Free forever.

Album conversion is here. Paste any Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer or Tidal album link and get one universal link with every track matched across platforms. Album pages show the artist's upcoming concerts, just like song pages. Multi-disc albums stay in the right order. Free forever.

Light mode finally follows your phone's setting. Private playlists get a heads-up to go public instead of converting into an empty link. Sharing sends just the link, no extra text. Re-opening a link on iOS works every time now. Shared links look great in Messages with full album art. And every song page has a new Create Your Own Link button. Free forever.

Private playlists now get a heads-up to go public instead of converting into an empty link. Sharing is cleaner — just the link, no extra text. Shared links look great again in Messages with full album art. And we fixed an iOS bug where re-opening a link you'd already opened sent you to the home screen. Free forever.

Buy This Track jumped above concerts; Trending filters finally scroll all the way (Audiobooks, you can come out now); Now on Instagram, Threads, TikTok & Bluesky — follow @musictrackshare. Plus we fixed a bug that could log you out right after signing in. Free forever.
