Whether you're on a float trip, hiking, hunting, or managing a high-stakes search and rescue operation, RANKAN keeps your group connected. Using advanced mesh networking, RANKAN turns your phone into a powerful peer-to-peer communication node that doesn’t need a tower to work. Two Modes, One Mission: Safety 1. Adventure Mode: Simple & Fast for Recreation Built for friends and families off the grid. Talk Like a Radio: Instant push-to-talk (PTT) communication for your whole group. See Everyone in Real Time: Live locations on a shared map so you never get separated. One-Tap SOS: Instantly alert your group, share your location, and let others hear what’s happening in real time. 2. How It Works RANKAN connects nearby devices using Bluetooth and peer-to-peer Wi-Fi to create a self-healing mesh. Extend Your Range: Your group helps extend the network—the more people join, the stronger the connection. Signal Bounce: If any one person in the mesh has a sliver of cell signal, the entire group can relay messages to the outside world. Built for the Real World Interactive Safety: Use Dynamic Island and Live Activities to talk and track your group without even unlocking your phone. Private by Design: No accounts required. No servers. No tracking. Your data stays within your group, protected by Apple’s encrypted transport. Battery Optimized: Engineered for long-haul outdoor use.
