A new Business expense group for side-hustle costs.
Profile is now one tidy hub, with a page per topic..
1.5.4 Oct 10
A Get started card on Home now shows you around, one satisfying tick at a time.
Splitting the bill? Divide an expense between people right from the entry form — which also got a UI revamped.
Budgets now show your pace.
1.5.3 Oct 7
Plan is now one page: budgets, your next 7 days, and goals. Your whole financial horizon, no tab-hopping.
Budgets got a makeover. A clean overall card on top, category rows below.
Insights now contain tips you can act on and cards that stay tappable.
1.5.2 Oct 3
Onboarding is now a proper chat with Budgie — pop in, answer a few friendly questions, and you're set up before you've had time to overthink it.
Typed an amount a while back? Budgie now recognises it no matter how long ago you logged it, not just the last few days.
Category search finally speaks your language — type "gas" and get both the bill and the fill-up, no more guessing the exact label.
Your net worth trend now flows smoothly between periods instead of snapping halfway there like it forgot where it was going.

Stats has a new way to move through time. A period bar now stays pinned to the top of the screen while you scroll, so you can jump to last month without scrolling back up first. Budgets got the same bar.
The net worth trend card is now a chart you can drag your finger across to see your balance on any day. Go on, give it a scrub.
Filtering and sorting a list now live together in a single options menu in the header. Fewer buttons, less guessing which one does what.
1.4.9 Sep 20
Stats got a colour makeover: the period chart, calendar heatmap, and category breakdown now all draw from one warm, coordinated palette instead of scattered category colours — the app finally looks like it's wearing one outfit.
The all-time trend chart now starts from your actual opening balance instead of zero, so long-term history reads true.
Dark mode's "red for expenses" now matches the bar chart's own ramp instead of clashing with it.
Numbers across the app now speak with one consistent voice — formatting quirks between screens are ironed out.

Budgie now taps you on the shoulder: turn on reminders and get one notification on days something's due. Counts and names only — your lock screen is not a private place.
Recurring things can finally stop. Set an end date, or pick "3 more" and we'll do the maths. Gym membership: your move.
New Investments category, for money that's spent but not, you know, gone.

The Goals tab grew into Plan: goals, budgets, recurring series and what's coming up, all in one forward-looking place.
1.4.1 Aug 22
AI Insights are here. Budgie now reads your spending and writes back real observations — where the money drifted, the odd fun fact, and concrete ways to hit a goal sooner.
1.4.0 Aug 15
Privacy mode grew up: tap the net worth figure and everything goes behind stars — entries, budgets, charts, the lot. The covering and uncovering even animates. Wildly unnecessary. Extremely satisfying.
A savings goal can now be turned into an expense, for when "one day" quietly becomes "today".
1.3.7 Aug 11
The Goals tab got a full glow-up: it's now split into Goals and Budgets, savings goals became a real feature with priorities and target dates, and income budgets turned into income targets you're trying to hit rather than stay under — with a savings-pace projection that now weighs your whole history, recent months counting more.
Stats can now show a calendar heatmap and a gapped donut breakdown, and picked up the same fluid motion the Goals tab already had.
New installs start from the money you already have, not zero.
You can now hide sensitive amounts with one tap — handy when someone's looking over your shoulder.
1.3.6 Aug 4
Stats now has a calendar heatmap view — glance at a month and see which days spent hard and which ones behaved.
Every add, edit, and delete now gets a quick toast confirmation, so you never have to wonder if that tap actually landed.
The Goals tab's gauges, cards, and headline numbers now animate into place, because progress deserves a little flourish on arrival.

Say hello to Budgie Pro: sync your budget across every device you own and wave goodbye to ads, all with one subscription.
Budgie got a glow-up: fresh app icon and new splash screen.
The entry form went amount-first, everywhere — punch in the number first, sort the details after.
Paused recurring bills now have their own section, so what's running and what's resting are easy to tell apart.

Say hello to Budgie Pro: sync your budget across every device you own and wave goodbye to ads, all with one subscription.
Stats got tidier — chart bars stop stretching to accommodate that one wild outlier entry, and the big spenders instead surface in a collapsible "Exceptional entries" summary you tap open when you're curious.

What's new
- New here? So were we, once. Budgie now greets first-timers with a proper onboarding flow that sets up your income, your first goal, and your first entry before it asks you to figure anything out on your own.
- Search grew up and got opinions — filter by type, category, amount, and date to hunt down that one coffee from three Tuesdays ago.
- Adding money things is now one form instead of two. One-off or recurring, same place, less thinking.
- Your goals fill up with a satisfying colour gradient as you close in on them, because progress should actually feel like progress.
- We scattered haptics throughout the app. Go on, tap around — you'll feel it.
- Some furniture got rearranged: Settings moved up to the Home header, Stats and Goals tidied their buttons, and Home now kindly reminds you what day it is.
Bug fixes:
- Things on iOS were leaning slightly to the left, like they'd had a long week. Straightened out.
- Notes were clinging to the form after autofill like a houseguest who won't take the hint. They now leave when asked.
