Your Daily Walk now keeps count. Finish the Verse, Devotion and Prayer to earn the day, watch your streak grow, and look back over every Walk in your calendar. Miss a day and a grace day keeps your streak going, once every 30 days. If the day's Walk isn't done, a gentle reminder comes in the evening - and your history is backed up to iCloud, so it comes with you to a new phone. Also new: Verses, a feed of scripture, affirmations and quotes between Today and Chat. Like what speaks to you and find it again in Liked, or share any verse as an image on the background you choose. Your Verse of the Day now comes from your own Bible.

Listening is different now. Your verse, devotion, prayer and any chapter you open are read aloud in a warm, natural voice - choose who reads, set the pace, and follow along as each verse lights up. Once a passage has played it stays on your phone, so you can listen again with no signal at all. English and Spanish to begin with. Also new: more Bibles. You can now open any translation we carry, in any language, whatever language the app is set to. Two Catholic editions join the list - the World English Bible (Catholic) and the Douay-Rheims.

Getting started is calmer. Before you decide, a few short screens now explain exactly what your free trial includes, how long it runs, and when we'll remind you - so nothing arrives as a surprise. Also new: Lock Screen verses. A short guide shows you how to add the widget in about a minute, and your verse changes through the day rather than sitting still. Choose a topic and the verses follow it.

Getting started is quicker and calmer. Fewer questions to answer, a shorter list of traditions with room to say Other, and your Bible translation already chosen - change it only if you want to. The prayer moment now lets you continue if you'd rather not hold, and nothing interrupts the welcome screen before you begin. Also fixed: your daily progress card no longer appears twice on the Lock Screen.

Your daily walk now begins on your Lock Screen. Each morning a new Live Activity brings today's verse, devotion and prayer — filling in as you go, and closing with a blessing when all three are done. Tap it any time to continue right where you left off. Also new: a gentler welcome when you open the app, and the Reading tab is now called Bible.

Read the full Bible in the app, book by book. Add the new widget to your home or lock screen for a verse that refreshes through the day, and listen to verses, prayers and devotions in warmer, more natural voices.
