Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
**Performance Optimizations for Network/Remote Drives**
- Eliminated redundant filesystem calls (`fileExists`, `displayName`) when listing directory contents — child items now use pre-fetched metadata from `contentsOfDirectory`, cutting ~2 network round-trips per file
- Directory loading for network volumes (NAS) now runs on a background thread — the UI stays responsive with a loading spinner instead of freezing
- Added a 5-second TTL directory cache for network paths — navigating back to a recently-viewed folder is instant
- Git detection is now skipped entirely for network volume paths — removes wasted subprocess calls on drives with no repos
- File watcher events are debounced (500ms) — prevents cascading reloads when many filesystem events fire rapidly
- `isOnNetworkVolume` check now caches per volume root instead of stat-ing each individual file
**File Operations on Remote Drives**
- Rename, delete, compress, and move operations on network files now run off the main thread — no more spinning cursor on large remote files
- `compress` no longer blocks the main thread waiting for the process to finish
**Drag and Drop Fixes**
- Drag-and-drop between split panes now works for both local and remote files
- Drop cursor shows the move arrow instead of the copy `+` icon
- Drops on non-directory file rows no longer silently swallowed — they correctly move files into the pane's current directory
- Drag provider skips `NSURL` registration for `/Volumes/` paths to prevent macOS from stat-ing large remote files during drag setup
