Danfodio Books brings together the writings of the three scholars of the Sokoto Caliphate: Shehu Usman dan Fodio, his brother Abdullahi dan Fodio, and his son Sultan Muhammad Bello. Their works are available in Hausa, English and Arabic.
More than 170 works across 17 volumes cover Aqidah, Fiqh, Hadith, Tafsir, Tazkiyah, Seerah, history, leadership, letters and poetry.
READ IN YOUR LANGUAGE
Switch between Hausa, English and Arabic at any time, for the app and for each book. Each language keeps its own bookmark, so you can read a chapter in English and pick up where you left off in Hausa.
MEET THE SCHOLARS
Each scholar has a page with their life, their works by volume, and a full-length biography to read.
FIND WHAT YOU NEED
Search titles in any of the three languages, or browse by scholar, volume or subject. A short passage from the library greets you on the home screen each day.
READ ANYWHERE
Download books for offline reading, with an option to download only on Wi‑Fi. My Library keeps track of what you're reading and what you've finished.
COMFORTABLE TO READ
Light and dark themes, and an option to dim pages in dark mode for reading at night. Zoom in on any page and jump straight to any page with the slider.
