ICEProof is an immigration rights and document app: plain-language know-your-rights information, an encrypted vault for your immigration documents, and an emergency text alert with your location for the people you trust.
YOUR IMMIGRATION DOCUMENTS, ALWAYS WITH YOU
- Store your green card, work permit (EAD), passport, visa, I-94, I-797 notices, birth certificate, naturalization certificate, I-20 and DACA approval
- Scan with your camera, including multi-page documents, with text recognition for expiry dates
- Your documents, scans and recordings are encrypted on your phone with AES-256. The key is kept in this iPhone's Keychain and never leaves it.
- Face ID, Touch ID and PIN lock, with auto-lock

FAMILY ALERT TO TRUSTED CONTACTS
- The alert writes a text message with your location to your trusted contacts; you press Send in Messages
- Contacts do not need the app to receive the alert
- Detained alert: press and hold, and after a 5-second countdown it prepares a text with your location for your contacts and starts a call to your saved attorney
- Record Encounter: record audio from the alert screen
- Quick Card keeps your most important documents together on the Documents tab

LANGUAGES
The app is in English, with a partial Spanish translation and partial translations into other languages. Some screens, including the alert screens, are English only. The know-your-rights cards are in English, so you can show them to an officer.
PRIVACY
Your documents are stored on your device, not on our servers. There is no cloud account and no advertising. Your documents and location leave your phone only when you choose to send them. Encrypted documents and recordings are not included in iCloud or computer backups and cannot be restored on a new phone, so keep your originals somewhere safe.
SUBSCRIPTION
Start with a 7-day free trial. Individual is $4.99 per month or $49.99 per year. Family is $9.99 per month or $99.99 per year and covers up to 6 people. Your subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple Account settings.

Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
- Imported PDFs (green card, visa, I-797 notices and other immigration documents) now stay in the encrypted vault and open inside the app.
- Your documents, scans and recordings are encrypted on your iPhone with AES-256. Documents you already saved are converted the first time you open this version.
- Delete Account now erases everything ICEProof stores on this iPhone: documents, recordings, contacts and settings. Your subscription stays with your Apple ID.
- More reliable alert location: the family alert waits a few seconds for an accurate position, then uses your last known location. The alert opens Messages with your location filled in; you press Send.
- Links to iceproof.app now open straight in the app, even when it was closed.
- Detained alert opens one message with your location, and Attorney Quick-Dial can now be set up.
- After auto-lock the app asks for your PIN instead of showing the intro, and Auto-Lock "Never" is respected.
- Text recognition fills in expiry dates from uploaded photos and files.
- Settings explains that encrypted documents are not included in backups.
- Fixes and clearer, more accurate wording throughout the app.
