This update adds new profiles and features, and fixes many problems. NEW • 9 new profiles, including the new Service collection. There are now 89 profiles. • All 10 Base profiles are free. Before, 3 were free. • You can try a locked profile in the viewfinder before you get Pro. • Camera Control: change the profile, exposure and lens. • You can hear audio styles in the editor preview. • Each gallery tile shows the profile name and the length of the video. • You can cancel an import or an export. If an export fails, REC tells you why. • REC does not stop your music when you open it. The music stops when you start a recording. • Haptic feedback works in the app. • VoiceOver and Voice Control work on all screens. RECORDING FIXES • Fixed crashes during a recording and when you stop a recording. • A call, Siri, high temperature or low storage now stops the recording and saves the video. Before, the video could be lost. • If REC closes while it saves a video, REC keeps the video. • Recording with Bluetooth headphones works. • Sound and picture stay in sync. • The front camera on iPhone 17 no longer shows a sideways or zoomed picture. • The picture no longer goes black when you turn the iPhone. • The volume buttons and Camera Control take one photo for each press. • Saved profiles keep all their settings. GALLERY FIXES • Fixed grey or empty tiles in the gallery. • A damaged library file no longer deletes your gallery. • Fixed zoom and replay problems in the viewer. EDITOR AND EXPORT FIXES • Fixed crashes with large 4K videos. • Fixed imports of videos with uncommon audio, for example surround sound and Spatial Audio. • Export at 24 or 12 fps now gives that frame rate. • Exported videos have the same colours and brightness as the editor preview, also from HDR videos. • REC now deletes temporary import files. Before, they used storage space. • Fixed black frames and wrong start positions in editor playback.
