ShareMyDish is a social recipe app where you can discover, share, and save dishes. Browse a feed of recipes from other users, view photos and videos, react to posts, like or repost recipes, and save your favorites into collections. With search and filter options, you can quickly find recipes by category, cuisine, difficulty, cooking time, and media type.
You can also create or edit your own recipes with ingredients, steps, tags, and media. The app includes profile pages, messaging, notifications, saved recipes, and a discovery area with popular and viral content. ShareMyDish is built for food lovers who want to collect, share, and grow their favorite recipes within an active community.
more Your edits stay put
Editing a recipe and doing something else for a moment — screen off, phone down, a minute of
waiting — took you back to the overview with your changes gone. The editor now stays open,
with your text in it.
Comments on a private recipe are private
People who can't see your recipe could still read the comments and ratings under it. Not
anymore.
Finding cooks
Search a name and you find the cook, not just their recipes. The recipe count next to
someone's name is right again, and nobody is missing from the suggestions.
Notifications that behave
A second notification of the same kind replaces the first instead of piling up — and it
reaches your phone again, which had quietly stopped. Notifications older than three months
clear themselves.
Also
• A moment shows its own photo, and the progress bar starts right away.
• Difficulty appears in your own language.
• "Delete" no longer shows on recipes that aren't yours.

React in chats
Press and hold a message to pick a reaction. That now works on a recipe or profile someone shares with you too.
Replies show what they're about
Reply to a recipe and that recipe appears above your message with a small photo. Tap it to open it; back takes you to the conversation, not the feed.
Go to other people's profiles
Tap a name or photo in the feed, in a recipe or under the comments and you're on their profile. Profile photos open full screen.
A hand getting started
If you don't follow anyone yet, ShareMyDish suggests cooks to begin with. And now and then a reminder about something useful: a profile photo, your first recipe, or a draft you left behind. Turn them off under Settings > Notifications > Tips.
Also
• Step 5 of a new recipe didn't fit on screen. Fixed.
• "Draft" is an actual button now.
• Notification permission is asked at a moment when it means something, not at launch.
• A deleted account no longer leaves a profile behind.
5.2.5 6d ago
New: Messages in Settings. There you can read back what ShareMyDish
announced, even if you missed the notification. What you've read stays in
sync across your devices.
Also in this version:
• Search now finds everyone. Some people simply didn't show up, with
nothing to indicate why.
• Reposts are back in the feed.
• Everyone who signs up now gets a profile, whichever sign-in method they
use.
• If something can't be saved you'll be told, instead of it failing
silently.
• The numbers on your profile line up again.
5.2.3 Oct 15
• Some cooks could not be found in search. That is fixed, and new members show
up right away.
• A recipe someone reposted sometimes never reached their followers.
• The stats on your profile are easier to read.
5.2.2 Oct 10
Small improvements behind the scenes. Your name is now stored cleanly,
without stray spaces.
5.2.1 Oct 9
New
• Share a public recipe and the other person sees the photo and the full recipe right away, even without the app.
• Post as soon as you have a photo and a title. The rest can wait.
• A confirmation after posting, with sharing close at hand.
• Add a recipe to your story.
• New here? A short tour shows you around.
• In chats: the time on every message, date headers between days, copy, and you see when the other person is typing.
Fixed
• Tapping the name at the top of a chat now opens that profile.
• A recipe video kept playing sound after you went back.
• Videos in Discover sometimes refused to play.
5.2.0 Oct 9
Sign in with Google
Alongside Apple, email and the sign-in link, you can now use your Google account.
Reposting done right
See who reposted a recipe, and your own reposts only reach your followers — not everyone's feed.
Following works again
Following or unfollowing someone now shows up straight away.
Also
• Change the number of servings and pieces and spoons scale too.
• An open recipe stays open when you switch to another app and back.
5.1.2 Oct 6
Sign in with Google
Alongside Apple, email and the sign-in link, you can now use your Google account. One tap, no password to remember.
See who reposted
When a recipe shows up because someone you follow reposted it, you'll now see that on the card.
Find your hidden posts
Posts you hide now live together under Settings → Privacy. One tap restores any of them. And once you hide a post, it stays hidden — even if you close the app right afterwards.
Also
• Your profile loads faster at startup.
• Profile and cover photos load reliably again.

What's New?
Reply to comments
You can now reply to comments on posts, just like on Instagram and Facebook. Tap "Reply" under any comment, write your response and send. Replies appear indented beneath the original comment and can be expanded via "X replies".
More specific notifications
Notifications are now much more informative:
- You'll be notified when someone likes your comment: "[name] liked your comment"

Follow requests (Android)
