Would be very helpful if you could make a list of materials to choose from instead of typing each one individually

Thanks for the feedback! You can already save materials to a template, so once they’re set up, you don’t have to type them in every time. A quick-select materials list is a good idea though, and I’ll look at adding that in a future update. Thanks for helping improve FieldStep!
