Mindset before mindless

Every time you reach for Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube - your mindset gets shaped before you even realize it. Affirm flips that pattern.
Affirm blocks your most distracting apps until you complete a short, personalized affirmation practice. It takes less than a minute. And over time, it changes how you think.
How it works
Choose which apps to block. When you try to open one, Affirm intercepts and guides you through a calming affirmation sequence - lines that fade in one by one, written to land with real emotional weight. Once you've affirmed, your app unlocks.
That's it. Mindset before mindless.
Custom affirmations across 7 goal categories
Choose what you're working on:
Confidence
Calm & Peace
Success & Motivation
Love & Relationships
Gratitude & Happiness
Health & Energy
Abundance & Wealth
Affirmations rotate intelligently so you're always encountering something fresh.
Track your progress over time
Affirm measures how you're actually doing — not just how often you show up. Four metrics update with every session:
State — your mood and energy
Mindset — your self-belief and motivation
Streak — your consistency over time
Growth — your overall trajectory
Visualized in a clean, premium dashboard.
Built on evidence
MRI studies show affirmations activate the brain's reward system. Research from Cohen et al. found just 10 minutes of daily affirmation practice created measurable benefits lasting three years or more. Affirm is designed around this science - delivering affirmations at exactly the moment they're most needed: when you're about to reach for distraction.
What makes Affirm different
Most screen time apps just block. Affirm replaces the scroll with something that actually builds you up. You don't just spend less time on distraction - you use that moment to reinforce who you're becoming.
Affirm requires a subscription to fully use the app after the 3-day free trial expires.
