more Features & Improvements
- Each warehouse can now have its own BWI account number, used for product imports and replenishment orders from that warehouse.
- When you place an order or change how often it repeats, you now get a copy of the email sent to your account rep.
- Printing the requests pull list now lets you choose one combined list or a separate sheet for each request.
- The Managers, Technicians and Trucks lists now have a search box with the Invite/Add button at the top.
Fixes
- Branch managers now see only the orders and requests for their own warehouses instead of the whole company's.
- Adding a product to an existing request now searches only your own warehouses and shows which warehouse each result is from, so requests no longer land in another branch's queue.
1.2.4 3d ago
Features & Improvements
- Added "Mastercase" to the UOM dropdown and "Case", "Bag" and "Tube" to the Sub UOM dropdown, on both the Add Item and Edit Item screens.
- Technicians can mark a request "Need it ASAP", which emails their managers and puts it at the top of the approval queue with a red ASAP badge.
- Favorite the products you use most from Product Details, then filter the catalog down to just your favorites.
- Change item quantities right in the request and order previews with a - / + stepper instead of removing and re-adding items.
- Quantities can also be changed when editing the items on a submitted request.
- Top-off cards now name the truck's technician instead of only the manager who ran it.
Orders & Reports
- Each delivery is now logged with the date it was received, and Purchases by Month can be viewed by order date or by date received.
- Purchases now reflect the price paid when the order was placed and show both ordered and received totals.
- Voided and failed orders no longer count toward spend.
- The Receive screen warns when an entry is more than what's outstanding, including when individual units are typed into a case-quantity box.
- Products with order or request history can no longer be deleted, which used to erase that history; Mark Inactive is offered instead.
Fixes
- Truck counts now show up as the truck driver's usage, not the manager's who ran the count
- Screen titles are now shorter (Home, Requests, Inventory) so they no longer get cut off on phones.
- Fixed request rows hiding the submitter's name on narrow phones.
- Fixed the item number line overflowing in the technician catalog on phones.
- Fixed two overlapping receipts on the same order adding the stock twice.
- Long product names take up less room on Product Details.
- Approved requests can no longer have their items edited, which could restore the wrong quantities if reverted; revert first, then edit.
1.2.3 Oct 15
Features & Improvements
- A manager can now also work as a technician on the same login, turned on by a switch in My Account under My Profile.
- A dual-role manager gets a Pull items button on the Inventory screen to request product for themselves, and can approve their own pull immediately instead of going to the approvals list.
- Their home screen shows both their manager dashboard and their own requests and truck, each under a heading they can collapse.
- Managers set up this way can be assigned a truck and use My Truck, including counting it and topping it off.
- A technician request can now be delivered straight onto their truck instead of only being picked up at the warehouse, so the stock lands on the truck count.
- Any product can be sent to a truck this way, including ones the truck has never carried and ones already at their fill target.
- Product detail pages now show managers a Usage card: how often the product is actually requested, a chart over time, and a breakdown by location and technician.
- A pull list can be printed for a single technician request straight from its card, without filtering the whole screen down to that one request first.
Fixes
- Order totals priced each line by the wrong unit, so a case of product was priced as a single bottle. Totals and the Purchases report now use the purchase-unit price, and the label names the unit.
- Searching technician requests crashed the screen to a grey box and required force-quitting the app. Search also now matches item numbers.
- New managers were being silently given every truck in the company when their invite carried no warehouses. Trucks are now only ever assigned deliberately.
- Printing is now more reliable.
1.2.2 Sep 21
Features & Improvements
- Delete Account now asks you to type DELETE to confirm, so a stray tap meant for Log Out can't trigger it.
- The confirmation now spells out exactly what will be deleted and points you to Log Out if that is what you wanted.
1.1.3 Aug 26
Fixes
- Fixed order emails to reps being dropped entirely when any line item had a blank item number.
- Fixed the Add/Edit Item forms letting required fields save blank when scrolled out of view.
- Fixed the inventory search box closing the Android keyboard mid-word while a search ran.
- Fixed Edit/Remove being unavailable on Technicians and Managers for everyone except the manager who sent the invite.
- Fixed a moved user keeping an inviter that pointed at the company they left.
Features & Improvements
- Added search and branch filtering to the Trucks page, matching truck name, techs, home warehouse, and on-board items.
- Added a "Partially Received" badge so partly shipped orders no longer look identical to ones that shipped nothing.
- Added the ability to remove items from a request in progress, from both the item dialog and the preview list.
- Collapsed the My Account screen's eight sections behind tappable headers that remember what you left open.
- Added "Received X of Y" line detail to the Request History card to match the Orders list.
Web & Branding
- Replaced the stock Flutter favicon and PWA icons with the BWI inv mark.
- Pointed the web app and invite emails at the new inv.bwicompanies.com domain and fixed the browser tab title and PWA name.
- Capped the sign-in and register screen width so the logo and form stay centered on wide monitors.
1.1.2 Aug 25
- Managers page now shows only that manager's inventory. Opening a manager from the Managers tab shows the on-hand value and warehouses that manager actually oversees, instead of the whole company. Company-wide inventory is still on the home screen and the on-shelf report.
- Printable pull list for technician requests. One button prints the submitted requests as a line-by-line pick list — tick boxes, item numbers, quantities and which warehouse to pull from — plus a combined totals page so the same product across several requests is pulled once. Designed to be carried to the chem room.
- Managers can turn on truck inventory themselves. Previously an admin-only setting, which blocked single-branch customers who never see the admin level.
- Dollar values on technician requests. Each request shows its total cost in the list and per-item costs when opened. Visible to managers always, and to technicians only if the company has enabled pricing for techs.
- Stock can now be transferred from a truck back to a warehouse. The transfer screen previously offered only other trucks.
- Item cost on every order line. Each ordered product shows its extended cost and unit price; order totals are more accurate for products priced only by the purchase unit.
- New: receiving against an order. Managers record what actually arrived — "Receive All" for a complete delivery, or quantity by quantity. Anything short stays outstanding and the order remains open as backordered until the rest arrives, then closes automatically.
- Received stock updates inventory automatically, in the right units. The app converts purchase units to stocked units — receiving 4 pails of rodent bait adds 72 pounds on the shelf. The conversion is confirmed once per product and remembered from then on.

Managers
Managers are now tied to specific warehouses, like technicians. Inventory lists, item pickers, request approvals, low-stock alerts and pending-approval counts all narrow to a manager's assigned warehouses. (Existing managers backfilled to every warehouse, so nothing looks different on day one.)
Truck-to-truck transfers — each truck card has a Transfer button: pick a destination truck, enter per-item amounts (capped at what the truck holds), and stock moves immediately as an auto-approved transfer. If instant execution fails it falls back to the normal approvals inbox.
Count a warehouse from the On-Shelf report — a Count button on each group opens the same count screen technicians use. Previously the only way to correct a warehouse was editing items one at a time, which left no audit trail.
Reports
New Shrink report — what physical counts found missing, by warehouse and product, over a date range, with CSV export. Shorts and overages are tracked separately, never netted, so a warehouse that runs 10 short then 10 over doesn't read as clean. Ordered by dollars lost.
Technician Variance is now three tabs over the same data: by technician (expand to their products), by product (expand to every tech's share), and an "over variance" list of flagged pairs sortable by dollar impact or percent. CSV export follows the active tab.
Sign-up & invites
Self-service sign-up now less error prone. Account creation moved server-side; an invited user who signs up before clicking their invite now joins the company that invited them instead of getting a brand-new empty one.
Invite emails now include App Store, Google Play and web links. No claim code needed — invites match on email address at sign-in.
Pending-invite banner — if you created your own account before your invite arrived, the app now shows the waiting invite and lets you join that company, instead of leaving you stranded on an empty one. Invites still come only from someone inside the company.
Admins
Managers can be edited rather than deleted: rename, change email, deactivate/reactivate from the manager detail screen. Deleting was deliberately removed — it silently destroyed the manager's order and request history. Email edits move the login credential; deactivation blocks sign-in and revokes sessions. For pending invites, deactivate doubles as cancel-invite and reactivate as restore.
1.1.0 Aug 1
Inventory catalog is redesigned to fit more products on screen, grouped by warehouse, with color-coded quantities that make low and out-of-stock items obvious at a glance.
New filter for low-stock and out-of-stock products, plus a wider search bar with filters built in.
Managers can now void a replenishment order from the Orders screen. Voided orders are excluded from all reports and exports.
Fixed an error that could appear when returning to the app after it had been in the background.
Managers can swipe to edit or delete a product in the catalog.
Add search to import products screen.
Added 2 ways for a user to deduct inventory from their truck. As you go, and "count my truck" to true up.
1.0.6 Jul 28
Bug Fixes:
Fixed a bug on the requests page that would cause it to crash sometimes.
Fixed a bug where if you turned off truck level inventory using an admin account, it still showed the trucks filter on the inventory page.
Fixed a bug with accepting invites.
1.0.5 Jul 24
Emails for replenishment request, frequency change, technician invite, manager invite, and the activation request now send through mailgun. Emails now also contain the customer number.
1.0.3 Jul 2
Managers can now filter their inventory by warehouse.
1.0.2 Jun 1
Invite manager feature added. Importing products into more than one warehouse bug fix.
