So Ripple does two things.
First, the feed. About four times a day we pull stories from 11 outlets across the spectrum, including PBS, BBC, The Guardian, Axios, The Hill, Al Jazeera and Drop Site. AI rewrites each one into a short, plain summary that drops the loaded framing. Every story keeps its outlet name and a link to the original, so you can compare and decide for yourself.
Second, the Ripple. Tap "See The Ripple" on any story and AI reads it against the profile you built at signup. It writes back how that story may land in your actual life. Your career. Your city. Your money. Your family. Every Ripple is different because every reader is different.
A new trade policy hits the wire? A banker in Detroit gets a different Ripple than a nurse in Nashville. That's the point.

You can now try Ripple before creating an account. Answer the profile questions, watch your first Ripple get written about your own life, and only then sign up.
For returning readers, the app now opens straight to your feed instead of holding you on the login screen while it checks things over the network.
Also fixed: swiping to the next story no longer leaves a sliver of the previous card stuck at the top of the screen, and BBC stories now come from their US edition, so your feed stays focused on news that affects you.
