What’s New in My Iris • Ask Iris now continues directly from your scan for a more connected, personalized conversation. • Journey now provides a clearer daily view of your progress. • Improved scan-result consistency and reliability. • Additional stability improvements for iOS and widgets. We’ve made behind-the-scenes improvements to app stability and iOS widget support, along with general reliability fixes for a smoother Iris experience.

What's New in v2.25.0 This is the biggest update to My Iris since launch. Here's what changed. Iris speaks first. When you open Ask Iris, she arrives with something already on her mind a thought she's been holding since your last scan, a pattern she noticed, or a question she thinks is worth exploring today. The conversation starts before you say a word. Tap to hear her voice, then continue from there. Iris remembers between sessions. After a deep conversation, Iris carries the thread forward. The next time you open the app, she may open by referencing what you discussed — not as a replay, but as something she's been sitting with. The more you talk, the more the experience feels continuous. Iris connects the dots. When a topic comes up for the second time, Iris names it. When two separate conversations are really about the same thing, she says so. Patterns that repeat across your sessions get noticed, named, and explored automatically. Iris noticed what changed between your scans. After your second scan, a new insight appears before your results a brief thread connecting where you were to where you are now. Iris sees your journey across time, not just in the moment. Iris sounds like herself, faster. Voice responses across every screen now begin in under a second. The greeting when you open the app, the voice on the Subscription screen, the ritual before your scan, the reveal after it all tightened so Iris's voice feels immediate and present. A home button on every screen. No matter where you navigate in the app, one tap returns you to Home. It's always visible, always available. Iris, not the app. Every label that sounded like software has been rewritten to sound like her. Your results are now "Iris found something…" Your insights tab is now "What Iris sees." A note that used to say "Weekly Report" now says "A Note From Iris." The app speaks in one voice throughout. Bug fixes and stability improvements. Fixed an issue where Iris would sometimes go silent on the Home screen after the daily greeting. Fixed navigation that occasionally dropped users back to the Home screen instead of opening a conversation. Several other smaller fixes that make the experience feel more reliable.

What's New in Version 2.22.4 Multi-language chat — Iris now always responds in your device language. Previously, responses could default to English for non-English users. Translated check-in card — The daily "How are you feeling?" check-in card is now displayed in your language across all 10 supported languages (English, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Arabic, Russian, French, German, Italian, Hindi). Free trial offer — The 7-day free trial is now displayed prominently at the top of the subscription screen so it's easier to find. First scan experience — Improved narrative flow for new users completing their first iris scan. Stability improvements — Under-the-hood updates to support faster delivery of future improvements.

What's new in version 2.22.3? Bug fixes and stability improvements Fixed an issue where scans and chat could fail to load on some devices Improved app reliability and performance

What's New in 2.22.1 Iris now remembers you between visits. Personalized reminders — your daily nudge is now tailored to your archetype and the last thing you explored, so it actually feels relevant. Same-day return card — come back to the app later in the day and Iris acknowledges your earlier reading instead of starting fresh. Streak protection — if your streak is at risk, you'll get a gentle heads-up at 8 PM so you don't lose your momentum. Improved memory safety across the app for more consistent day-to-day use.

What's New in This Version 2.21.0 Stability & Speed Fixed a rare crash that could occur when opening certain insight cards. Resolved translation-related crashes on Mood Patterns, Rebalance Path, and Home screens. Smoother onboarding experience across all supported languages. Languages Onboarding (Welcome screen) now fully translated across all 10 languages. Archetype reveal and mood pattern section headers now localized. Added 5 new localized sections for deeper insights: 14-Day History, Behavioral Patterns, Inner Tensions, Resistance Signals, and What Keeps Coming Back. Under the Hood Improved memory safety across the app for more consistent day-to-day use.

What's New in v2.19.0 Every question deserves a clearer answer. This update improves the experience behind every scan, making your journey through Identity, Direction, Vitality, Harmony, Depth, and more feel smoother and more consistent. We've also made a number of reliability improvements and behind-the-scenes refinements to help My Iris continue evolving with you. Your iris has been talking behind your back. We gave My Iris a tune-up so every scan runs smoother and nothing slips through the cracks — quick from the first blink, steady all the way through. Plot twist: your daily reading kept going while you were away. Pop back in, scan those peepers, and catch up on what your patterns have been whispering. Go on, take a look. Your iris dares you.

What's New in v2.18.0 This update is about one thing: Being understood more accurately. Until now, different scans could sometimes feel too similar. You'd ask a different question, choose a different lens, and still find yourself staring at a version of the same answer. That wasn't the experience Iris was meant to deliver. In v2.18.0, every scan now sees you through its own lens. Not just different colors. Not just different labels. Different reasoning. Different interpretation. Different paths forward. Every Scan Now Has Its Own Voice Vitality Vitality is no longer a generic energy check. It looks for the hidden costs you're carrying, where your focus is leaking, where your effort is being spent, and where recovery isn't keeping pace with demand. Sometimes exhaustion isn't a lack of energy. Sometimes it's energy pointed in the wrong direction. Direction Direction now focuses on decisions. Not goals. Not motivation. Decisions. The ones you've been avoiding. The ones you've been circling. The ones quietly shaping your future while you tell yourself you'll deal with them later. Direction is designed to reveal where movement has replaced progress. Harmony Harmony now looks beneath surface relationships. It explores connection, distance, trust, expression, and emotional availability. Sometimes the tension isn't between you and other people. Sometimes it's between the closeness you want and the closeness you're willing to allow. Identity Identity remains focused on who you are becoming. The traits you lean into. The traits you hide. The parts of yourself asking for expression. Depth Depth focuses on the longer story. Patterns that don't belong to a single week or season. Themes that appear repeatedly throughout your life. The things you carry long after the original reason has been forgotten. Foundation Foundation remains the widest lens available. The broadest view of your current reading and how your major patterns connect together. More Personalized Results Each scan now generates its own scoring system, interpretation, and framing. The first thing you see after a scan changes depending on the lens you chose. The insight card. The language. The path forward. The way Iris explains what she found. All of it now adapts to the question you're actually asking. Because asking about your energy is different from asking about your direction. Asking about your relationships is different from asking about your identity. And the experience should reflect that. Why This Matters You didn't come here for generic answers. You didn't come here to read the same insight wearing different clothes. You came to understand something about yourself. To see a pattern more clearly. To make sense of something you've been carrying. To find language for something you've felt but couldn't quite explain. This update brings Iris closer to that goal. Closer to recognizing not just who you are, but what you're searching for. Open the app. Ask the question you've been avoiding. See what Iris sees. — My Iris is an entertainment and self-exploration experience inspired by iridology folklore and symbolic interpretation. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or health assessments.

What's New — Version 2.17.0 Iris is more precise, more present, and more personal than ever. This release combines everything from v2.15.5 (previously rejected, never published) through v2.17.0, so you're getting three versions of improvements in one update. How Iris Responds — Major Intelligence Upgrade Iris's conversational intelligence has been rebuilt across five dimensions: She says less, more precisely. One sharp sentence now replaces three good ones. Iris no longer fills the space to sound thorough. She knows when to stay quiet. When something real surfaces in a conversation, Iris holds the space instead of responding immediately — some moments don't need an answer. She holds contradictions open. When you're genuinely torn between two things, Iris stops trying to resolve it. She sits with you in the tension instead. She reads the room before she responds. Iris now senses your emotional register and intensity first, and adjusts her pacing, depth, and tone to match where you actually are, not where a general response would land. She names cross-archetype tension. If your pattern pulls from two different archetypes, Iris identifies the intersection and speaks to the real friction between them — rather than defaulting to one type. Memory — Iris Now Watches You Grow "Iris has watched you grow" card appears in your Insights tab after your second scan a personalised reflection of how your pattern has shifted over time, with a visual arc of your scan history Longitudinal reading in chat — when you've scanned twice or more, Iris references your full arc in conversation, not just the most recent session History timeline — your scan history screen now shows a visual timeline (oldest → newest) with date labels, days active, and current archetype Daily Check-In — Pattern Reveals "Iris noticed a pattern" card — after 3 consecutive days of check-ins, a named card appears in your Insights tab with Iris's actual observation surfaced inline. No tap needed to see what she noticed. Tiered narratives — the pattern deepens at 3, 7, 14, and 30 days with increasingly specific observations about what keeps returning in your sessions Depth Scan — Now Featured Prominently Depth scan moved to the top of the scan journey (position 2, immediately after Foundation) New featured treatment — "MOST REVEALING SCAN" and "FEATURED" badges on the Depth card Updated description — makes clear this goes deeper than any other scan in the journey Paywall & Conversion Archetype-specific CTA headlines — the unlock prompt now speaks directly to your type's specific pattern (not a generic unlock message) "What you lose if you close this" framing — the breakthrough upsell card now names exactly what happens to the signal if you close the session without reading Social proof line updated — reflects that most users unlock within the same session while the signal is live Breakthrough card copy — completely rewritten per archetype to be more urgent and specific about what the breakthrough moment actually means Bug Fixes Depth scan ordering conflict resolved (no longer appears out of sequence in the journey map) Breakthrough and habit engine result fields that were missing from the analysis mapping — fixed (previously caused loading failures on those result types) Frustration Map navigation corrected — now routes through Camera → Analysis → FrustrationMap rather than ResultsScreen My Iris is a novelty entertainment app inspired by traditional iridology. Results are for self-exploration and entertainment only — not medical advice.

What's New in 2.15.0 Procrastination Pattern Decoder A new Shadow Scan reads 7 procrastination archetypes from your iris — fear, perfectionism, overwhelm, exhaustion, validation-seeking, avoidance, and identity resistance. See your dominant pattern, its emotional root, and a 3-part rewiring prescription tailored to your archetype. Share your shadow pattern as a card. Daily Resistance Meter A new 1-tap check-in in the Insights tab captures your daily resistance state (Resistance, Friction, Avoidance, Fog, Flatness) and returns an archetype-personalized diagnosis with a specific action to move through it. Identity Card Now Shows Your Real Eye The iris identity card on your Personality results now displays your actual captured iris photo instead of a placeholder illustration — in both the hero ring and the identity card itself. Smarter Paywall Copy Each archetype now gets its own precision line on the paywall, the Recovery Path card explains specifically why you need the full reading, and the CTA reads "Show me the full path." Breakthrough Moments — Archetype Consequences When a breakthrough fires in chat, the follow-up upsell now names the specific consequence and opening that applies to your archetype, not a generic prompt. Depth Scan Featured The Depth scan is now featured at position 2 in the Scan Journey with elevated visual treatment — it's your deepest structural reading yet. Pattern Reveal After 3 Consecutive Days Check in for 3+ days in a row and Iris surfaces a "noticed something across your sessions" card in your Insights tab — driven by your actual topic patterns. Bug Fixes Personality insights now generate reliably for Identity scans (token limit increased) A direct "Scan for Identity Insights" button appears if personality data is missing Frustration map data now loads correctly after a frustration scan Settings version display corrected to 2.15.0

What's New in My Iris 2.14.0 A more honest first impression. The opening experience has been completely rebuilt. No product tour. No feature walkthrough. Just three statements — one at a time — that ask you to sit with something before you start. If that sounds uncomfortable, it's meant to. Your reading, in one line. After every scan, Iris now surfaces a single statement written specifically for your archetype. Not a summary. Not a list. One line that names something you've been working around. Tap Share to send it — your results, distilled to what actually matters. Bug fix: Frustration Map navigation. Tapping "Scan to unlock your map" on the Frustration card now correctly takes you to your Frustration Map after scanning. Previously it routed to the general results screen instead. New Iris Identity Visuals Each personality archetype now has a photorealistic iris image — rich macro photography with distinct colours and textures unique to your type. The Strategist, Guardian, Explorer, and every other archetype now feel far more personal and real. Cleaner Premium Experience Premium features are now presented consistently across the app. The Frustration Awareness card joins the Iris Pattern Map and Clarity Scan with a clear, unified lock state — so you always know exactly what's waiting for you when you upgrade. Bug Fixes & Polish Fixed a text overlap in the streak section of the Journey tab Improved layout consistency across insight cards Minor copy improvements throughout the onboarding and scan flow. A note on what this app is: My Iris is an entertainment app inspired by iridology folklore. It uses AI to generate creative personal insights — not medical analysis. Think of it like a horoscope that actually asks uncomfortable questions.

What's New in 2.12.0 She speaks first now. Open Iris after a Life Direction, Identity, Vitality, or Clarity scan — and she doesn't wait. She checks in. She asks if what surfaced actually landed. Whether you want to go deeper into what the reading touched. Because a scan that ends in silence isn't a reading. It's just a list. That changes here. Also in this version: Your personality preview is no longer a tease — it shows your real pressure pattern. What your iris reveals about how you act when things get hard. Named. Not blurred out. The sound prescription in your daily check-in is live now. Tap the BPM range. Go straight into it. Your paywall knows your archetype. What's waiting on the other side isn't a generic upgrade prompt — it's written for your type, about the exact tension your pattern carries. The Depth scan moves up. Ancestry, fiber constitution, ring patterns — it's the reading most people haven't reached yet. Now it's the first thing you see. Iris has been watching your patterns across sessions. This version is about her closing the gap between what she sees and what you actually feel. My Iris is for entertainment and self-exploration only. Not medical advice.

What's New in 2.10.0 Iris Path — what if your daily read was already waiting for you? What would it look like if Iris pulled everything she knows about you into one place — before you even asked? That's the idea behind Iris Path, a new daily card now living on your home screen. It holds four layers at once: Today (what's showing up in your energy and emotional field right now), This Week (the pattern Iris has noticed threading through your recent sessions), Your Pattern (the recurring trait or tension that keeps appearing in your iris archetype), and Your Move (one action, calibrated to where you actually are today, not where you were last month). It updates with your check-ins, your last scan type, and the time of day. It never shows you the same thing twice. The question it keeps asking: what does it mean when the same thing keeps coming up? What if every question got the response it actually deserved? Here's something we noticed: in some categories, Iris was answering a different question than the one you asked. Not because she wasn't listening — but because the routing behind the scenes was sending certain topics to the wrong domain. A question about your energy could come back as a life direction reading. A habits question might return a personality reflection. Curious, but not in the right way. In 2.10.0, all of that has been corrected. Every category — goals, habits, energy, tips, purpose, anxiety, transitions, relationships — now maps cleanly to its domain, and every response Iris gives is genuinely shaped by what you were actually wondering about. The difference is most noticeable in the places where responses used to feel slightly off. Now they land. What if there was a pause before the invitation? When you chose a question and landed on Iris's topic screen, the invitation to scan your iris used to appear almost immediately — before you'd had a chance to sit with what she'd already told you. We kept wondering: what if she finished her thought first? Starting in 2.10.0, the scan button waits. Iris delivers her initial reading, and only once she's done does the invitation to go deeper appear. It's a small timing change. But it changes the feeling of the whole moment — less like being moved through a process, more like being in a conversation where someone is actually curious about your answer. What if onboarding started with the feeling, not the feature? The first thing new users see has been completely rewritten. Not around what the app does — iris scanning, AI analysis, pattern recognition — but around the feeling that brings someone here in the first place. The sense that something is shifting but you can't name it yet. The pull toward understanding why you keep making the same choices. The quiet curiosity about what's underneath the surface. Four new opening screens now move through that arc — from recognition, to context, to reassurance, to invitation — before the app asks you to do anything at all. What brought you here? That's the question Iris starts with now. What if the upgrade screen spoke to what you'd actually discover? The language across the paywall and subscription screen has been rethought. The old version described premium access in terms of features: more tabs, more content, more scans. But that was never really the question, was it? The new version speaks to what you'd actually uncover — the deeper iris layers that hold long-forming patterns, emotional blocks, ancestry signals, and identity tensions that the surface scan doesn't reach. The call-to-action, the section labels, the benefit framing — all of it has been rewritten around the real question: what are you still curious about that one scan hasn't answered yet? This is Version 2.10.0

Here's what this patch fixes compared to 2.9.0: 2.9.1 — Localization fixes Pattern Map screen was fully hardcoded in English — domain names, score labels, category labels, and section headers now respect the user's chosen language across all 10 supported languages Vitality screen was fully hardcoded in English — all 5 state labels/taglines/actions, metric names, time-of-day labels, and UI copy now translate correctly State Shift screen was fully hardcoded in English — state labels, prescription text (what to listen for, why it works), and all UI copy now translate correctly No feature changes, no API changes — strictly fixing text that was invisible to non-English users despite the language system already being in place.

What's New in 2.9.0 6 Scan Type Journey System Choose your intention before you scan. Six focused scan types — Foundation, Identity, Vitality, Direction, Depth, and Harmony — replace the old tab model. Each one uses a dedicated AI analysis and shows only the results relevant to that scan. Goals System Set a personal goal before your scan and let Iris tailor her insights around it. Your goals are tracked across sessions so Iris remembers what you're working toward and personalises her responses over time. Guided Topic Flow Pick a topic that matters to you — energy, relationships, ancestry, clarity — and Iris automatically selects the right scan type and guides you through the full experience. Smarter Home Screen The Explore tab now shows your Scan Journey with all 6 scan types, displaying which ones you've completed, which are available, and which are premium. Bug Fixes & Improvements Improved navigation across the app, better scan history grouping by type, and more consistent results when revisiting past scans.

Version 2.8.0. Here's what's new: Iris Pattern Map A new interactive radial visualization showing five life domains — energy, focus, relationships, identity, and decisions — as arc rings around your iris center. Each ring fills to a score derived from your check-in history and conversation patterns. Tapping any ring reveals domain-specific insight text and a categorized recommendation list covering nutrition, music, movement, writing, reading, and reflection. Accessible from the home screen. Vitality Engine A five-metric internal state system tracking energy, drive, focus, stress load, and recovery. Inferred continuously from chat signals, memory patterns, and time of day, it classifies your state into five profiles: Depleted, Overloaded, Blocked, Scattered, and Aligned. The home screen card now shows urgency cues for Depleted and Overloaded states. State Shift System Maps your five internal states to precise sound prescriptions — specific sound type, BPM range, and a diagnostic line from Iris. When you tap a mood in the daily pulse check-in, the done card immediately shows an inline sound prescription plus one archetype-specific action. Includes a "Find this sound" button and a link to the full State Shift screen. Frustration Engine Detects, classifies, and reasons about user frustration in real time. It offers domain-aware options and tracks how frustration patterns evolve across sessions. Archetype identity lock Your personality type no longer shifts between scans. Once established, your archetype is stable across sessions. Daily recurring pulse notification Archetype-specific push notification messages for all eight personality types, rotating daily.

Iris Intelligence Architecture The biggest under-the-hood upgrade. Every chat message now runs through a 5-layer orchestration system: Identity, Memory, Context, Reasoning, and Action — before reaching the AI. Iris now has a structured understanding of who you are, what you've talked about, and what to do next, rather than relying on loose context fields. Daily streak chip on the home screen Longitudinal zone-change card showing how your iris patterns shift over time Weekly report card summarising your week of scans Milestone Celebration Modal When you hit a streak milestone (3, 7, 14, 30, 60, or 100 days), a celebration modal fires with milestone-specific copy, archetype-aware taglines, a shareable badge, and haptic feedback. Each milestone shows exactly once. Bug Fixes "View scans" button on the weekly report card no longer crashes Back button on the Results screen was completely frozen due to a React Native deprecation (pointerEvents as a prop is silently ignored in the new architecture — all five instances across the app were fixed) Iris reveal overlay was mounted permanently and intercepting all touches, even when invisible — now only mounts when the animation is actually playing

My Iris — Version 2.4.3 Version 2.4.3 was the largest feature release in the app's history — a complete rethinking of how a user moves through the experience, from their very first open to their tenth return visit. Direct Question Answering The most significant new feature: when a user taps a question card, Iris now gives a specific answer to that question rather than a generic personality description. The scan itself becomes the moment of truth — the AI reads the eye in the context of what you asked. A dedicated answer card appears in the results, and Iris speaks the answer aloud rather than a boilerplate opening. Narration timing was also adjusted so the voice sequence respects whether an answer was generated. Memory System A three-layer memory store (session, pattern, identity) was introduced, persisted locally at @iris_memory_v1. The system tracks topic visits, chat interactions, archetype, detected traits, conversation count, and last interaction date. This memory feeds back into the home screen (personalised questions, return hook card for users absent 24+ hours), the chat system prompt (soft-language context that makes Iris feel like she remembers you). Breakthrough Moments A detection engine watches for four trigger conditions: repetition (a topic visited three or more times), contradiction (conflicting identity signals), decision pressure (a decision question plus two or more sessions), and journey milestones (days 3, 7, and 14). When a breakthrough fires, the AI delivers a five-beat response — a pause and tone shift, a direct insight, a personal anchor, an impact line, and a moment of silence. Breakthrough messages render in the chat with an amber accent bar and a "Iris · Insight" label. Hero Share Card A purpose-built shareable identity card was added — off-screen rendered, dark background, Instagram-native framing. It generates a two-line first-person identity statement from the user's archetype, extracted traits, and tensions (for example: "I tend to see meaning before others do…"). Tapping share opens the native sheet with the card as a PNG. Daily Journey System A four-phase progressive journey engine was introduced, keyed to days since first scan: Awareness (days 1–3), Exploration (days 4–7), Tension (days 8–14), and Direction (days 15+). The home screen shows a journey card with a phase pill, day signal, message, and two prompt chips — fully translated in all ten languages. Life Path Engine A directional profiling system translates a user's accumulated traits and tensions into one of six life directions: independent, structured, relational, creative, growth, or exploratory. When the AI detects a life-path question in any of the ten supported languages, the server injects a seven-step response format — no prediction language, no destiny claims, fully Apple-compliant. Relationship Intelligence The friend comparison screen was reframed from a compatibility tool into a relationship dynamics engine. Users pick a relationship type (Partner, Friend, Family, Coworker, Ex) and the AI generates three sections: Tension (where you naturally clash), Alignment (where you naturally connect), and Dynamic (how your interaction actually works), plus a named dynamic label like "Magnetic Friction." A viral share text is generated alongside the result. Performance Analysis was made significantly faster by running the AI tasks in parallel rather than sequentially. The IrisTopicScreen was rearchitected to preload Iris's response immediately on mount, so the screen feels instant rather than waiting. Translations and Polish Comprehensive translation passes covered the new Q&A feature, relationship comparison, discovery text, recommendation headings, and nature pattern names — across all ten languages. The welcome screen received a larger Iris eye logo, and the pulsing purple ring was removed. Smart push notifications and a daily check-in system were added to help the app become a daily habit.

Version 2.2.5 My Iris now speaks your language fully. This update extends almost complete multi-language support across every screen in the app. (Some text may still be in the original English format.) What's new: Full localization for all 10 languages (English, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Arabic, Russian, French, German, Italian, Hindi) — including your home screen insights, section labels, and subscription screen Home screen insight cards now generate titles, descriptors, and narrative summaries in your device language "Today from Your Iris," "Iris Highlights This," and "What Your Iris Sees in You" sections are now translated into every supported language Subscription screen fully localized — plans, badges, trust text, privacy, and terms links all display in your language Improved readability on locked content previews — blurred premium content now shows a clean gradient reveal instead of a plain grey overlay General performance and stability improvements
