more Going back from a place or event now feels smooth, and your feed keeps its colors and stays put when you switch tabs.
Search looks and feels the same everywhere, and loading is calmer to look at.
Exhibitions that already opened no longer claim it is their first day.
Saved sessions that are not confirmed yet are clearly marked, so you know before you go.
Small fixes that add up, including a tidier profile.
1.1.34 4d ago
A simpler start: Soko now explains what it does up front, with a shorter onboarding and zines that match your interests. Bundles now have a calendar and keep loading as you scroll, and you can swipe through venue photos. Search uses the location you picked, everywhere. Venue owners can claim their place more reliably. Plus you stay signed in more reliably, and lots of smaller fixes.
1.1.33 Oct 7
Map search looks in your country first now, and one tap on "Search everywhere" takes it worldwide.
The feed shows up faster after you open the app or sign in, and tapping Home on a filtered feed clears the filters.
Plus fixes: no black screen after saving, calendars open on this month, and the location sheet closes with a swipe down.
1.1.32 Oct 3
The feed just keeps going now. Scroll and the next batch shows up, no asking for more options.
In onboarding, tap your Daily Drop cover and it opens right there, ready to read.
1.1.30 Sep 24
Setting your location now names your neighbourhood, not just your city.
Onboarding no longer gets stuck at the last step.
Likes and follows land on the first tap and stay where you put them.
Filters are back on the feed. Narrow events by time and category, places by type.
1.1.29 Sep 18
Sharing got a lot better. Links are short now, they come with a preview, and the sheet opens the second you tap.
Your Library has a calendar. Tap the button in the header to see every saved event laid out by month.
Search inside the Library now looks across all of it, with chips to narrow to events, places, zines or people, and you can sort the items inside a zine.
First run is much quicker, and the places it used to get stuck halfway through are fixed.
Zines open properly instead of stranding you on the cover, place cards from chat now open, plus a pile of small fixes across cards, sheets and sign in.
1.1.28 Sep 16
New walkthrough for first-timers.
Your profile now leads with your Memory: what Soko has picked up about your taste, grouped by category and easy to tune.
The Library got a full redesign, with search that stays inside it and tabs that keep their place when you swap.
Venue, event and zine pages got a new look: bigger photos, a date tag, your notes right on the item, and exhibitions and recurring events now say when they run.
Chat has a new header and composer, results land on a map, and cards slide in more smoothly.
On the map, chat suggestions open right where you are, the leave prompt is gone, and you can see at a glance whether your location is being used.
1.1.27 Sep 11
A little behind-the-scenes polish.
Small fixes that add up.
1.1.25 Aug 27
Reimagined map & search — a faster, focused search with smart suggestions and your recent searches, new teardrop map pins, and smoother panning and zooming.
A friendlier welcome — a brand-new chat-style onboarding that gets to know your vibe.
Daily Drop, done right — a dedicated Daily Drop page with a clearer "still cooking" waiting state, and notifications that open the exact drop.
Smarter saving — quick-save with a tap (and a satisfying buzz), one unified "Interested" list, and import places straight from a Google Maps list link.
Your profile, polished — round avatars everywhere, pull-to-refresh for suggested locals, and business owners can now claim and manage their venue.
1.1.24 Aug 26
Chat now tells you exactly where it's searching, so you always know which neighborhood you're browsing.
Tap a pin and the map zeroes in on it, then puts everything back when you're done.
Fewer surprise logouts. Your session now holds on like it should.
Sharing a list to your Story now shows off its cover. Plus a stack of small fixes that add up.
The map got a serious glow-up. New location picker, cleaner pins, and search that follows wherever you actually are.
Planning around something that repeats? You can now see when an event comes back and save just the date you want.
Profiles feel more you, with avatars, your links, and a Local Legend badge for the people who really know their neighbourhood.
Share a list straight to your Instagram Story, cover and all. Reels are welcome again too.
Now speaking Spanish.
Plus smaller fixes throughout, including one that keeps you logged in when you should be.
1.1.20 Aug 6
The Map just landed. See what's happening around you, search any spot and event, and watch places light up as you scroll.
Profiles are here too. Build your own, check out everyone else's, track people down by their @handle, and see what we're into over on Editor Picks.
Plus a few small fixes along the way.
1.1.17 Jul 21
The in-app tips behave better now, no more popping up over the thing they're pointing at.
Mostly a quiet one this time, tidying up behind the scenes.
1.1.16 Jul 10
Give your phone a shake to send us feedback, from anywhere in the app.
Cranked up your text size? The whole app scales now without cutting anything off.
Near You reads your actual location instead of getting stuck on a rough guess.
Little in-app nudges to point you at the good stuff, plus a handful of small fixes.
1.1.15 Jul 8
New unified share sheet across the app. Try sharing an event, a venue, or a list - you should see a live preview and a one-tap route to Instagram Story. The regular share options are still there. Let me know if the preview, the IG handoff, or any of the surfaces look off.
1.1.14 Jul 8
Notifications are here — a proper inbox, push, reminders, and prefs to shape what reaches you.
Deep links now land in Yours and the Profiling start, and a push tap survives an expired session.
Sharing to Instagram Stories is smoother, and signing in with Google or Apple sends you back where you were.
Plus small fixes across event pages, the connectivity banner, and notification routing.
1.1.11 Jul 2
Tap a link and it'll now open straight to the right content, even on a cold start. Now works for your Daily Drop and Weekly Bundle too.
If something isn't ready yet or needs a login, it'll tell you instead of leaving you hanging.
Plus smoother scrolling in the feeds.
1.1.9 Jun 18
Search just flows now — results keep loading as you scroll, and the filters got a sharper look so you find your thing faster.
Shared links and your daily drop land you right where they should, even on a cold open, and guests can tag along without signing up.
Sharing a photo? Drop in the country and city it's from.
List covers update everywhere the second you change them, and importing from a Maps link actually tells you when something's off.
Plus a stack of little fixes — smoother chat, a cleaner persona reveal, tidier swipes.
1.1.8 Jun 16
- Fixed tap-through on smart-list cards in the user-profiling flow — tapping a list on the "Só para ti" grid now opens the list, and back returns to
the grid.
- Product tour: skipping mid-tour now reliably stops the guided cursor and prevents stray highlights on the next screen.
1.1.7 Jun 8
- Welcome screen: phone-only sign-ups no longer see email-consent copy
- No unexpected location permission prompt during app launch
- User-profiling: the final-step "Continue" button now responds reliably
- "Skip & go home" button on user-profiling is grayed for clearer hierarchy
- Stability fix: removed a crash when re-entering the discovery shell after onboarding
1.1.6 Jun 7
Hey! Lists flip like zines now - peel a corner to peek at the next page. Setting your location is way smoother too, with a GPS shortcut on step one. Fixed that iOS Sign-in stall (it was rough, sorry), and Soko short links finally open straight in the app. Plus some Portuguese polish and a keyboard that gets out of the way. Enjoy
1.1.3 Jun 3
- Tapping Home or the Soko logo at the top now closes the search overlay
- Some bugfixes
- New onboarding to guide you through the app
