Runs and rides with live pace and heart rate. Two scores on every food. Notifications timed to your own day. And more of Onyx is free.
Onyx reads your Apple Watch, your bloodwork, your training and your food — and tells you what to do today.
Most fitness apps show you a dashboard and leave you to work it out. Onyx opens with a sentence and a button. Train hard, or don't. Eat this next. Be in bed by 10:45. Every answer comes from your own data, and every answer says why.
READINESS, READ EVERY MORNING
Overnight HRV, resting heart rate, sleep and breathing become one score before you're out of bed. Then the day spends it: a heavy session, a long walk or a stressful afternoon each cost, and each fades over the hours that follow. When your body is asking for rest, Recovery Mode eases the plan for a few days.
A COACH THAT KNOWS YOUR DATA
Ask anything. "Should I train today?" "Why has my HRV been low this week?" "Build me 45 minutes with dumbbells." Coach answers from your last two weeks — not a generic script — and builds the session on the spot.
RUNS, WALKS AND RIDES, LIVE
Live pace, distance, splits, your heart-rate zone as a colour, and the route drawing itself. Your week's cardio load is measured against what the last four conditioned you for, with zone minutes, records and VO₂ max beside it.
HOW OLD IS YOUR BODY, REALLY?
Biological age from VO₂ max, resting heart rate, HRV, sleep, steps, exercise — and LDL and HbA1c once your bloodwork is in. See what's raising it, what's lowering it, and the habits that move it.
YOUR BLOODWORK, READ AND ACTED ON
Photograph a lab report or import the PDF. Every marker is charted against its range and tracked across draws. Flagged results become one-tap changes: ease training while iron is low, raise fibre when LDL is high. Your first report is free. A heads-up, not a diagnosis.
TRAINING THAT COUNTS WHAT YOU DID
The lift that deserves you fresh goes first. Only the sets you ticked count. Multi-week blocks that build, peak and deload, with cardio days in them. Every session graded.
TWO SCORES ON EVERY FOOD
Scan a barcode, snap a plate, read a menu, or just say it. Every product gets its own score — processing, additives, nutrient quality — and a second one for you, today, from your bloodwork, readiness and training. Meals you log appear in Apple Health.
NOTIFICATIONS, ON YOUR CLOCK
Timed to when you wake, train, eat and sleep. At most three a day, never overnight.
YOUR BODY, THEN A SENTENCE
An eight-domain wheel shows where you're even and where you're lopsided; tap any domain for its grade and the lever to pull. Onyx notices resting heart rate creeping up and HRV drifting down a day or two before you feel it.
ON YOUR WRIST
The Watch runs a session without your phone: last and best weight on every set, a rest ring you can read across the rack, and live heart rate. Nine widgets for Home Screen, Lock Screen and StandBy.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Scores, trends and plans are worked out on your iPhone. Sync goes to your own private iCloud, which we can't read. When Coach or a photo needs a larger AI model, only what's needed is sent, without your name. Never sold, never used for ads, never used to train AI.
FREE, AND ONYX PRO

It’s easy to navigate and keeps me accountable. I recommend it to all my friends.
Onyx 3.6
CARDIO, AS A PLACE
Start a run, walk or ride from Onyx: pace, distance, splits, your heart-rate zone as a colour, the route drawing itself, and a goal Coach sets from your week. The Cardio page reads the week's load against your own band in a sentence, stacks eight weeks of zone minutes, keeps your records and VO₂ max beside it, and every run opens on a verdict against your usual. Training blocks can carry cardio days now.
MORE OF ONYX IS FREE
Everything your iPhone works out is free: readiness and the illness early-warning in full, session grades, cardio load, biological age, sleep need and debt, the adaptive program, Recovery Mode, and Coach's written takes when Apple Intelligence can write them on the device. Your first lab report is free too. Pro is the part that thinks with you — Coach, unlimited — and it costs less: $29.99 a year, with a week free.
TWO SCORES ON EVERY FOOD
Scan a barcode and you get the product's score — processing, additives, nutrient quality — and beside it a second one: for you, today. It reads your bloodwork, your readiness, whether you trained and what's left of the day, and names each reason. Meals you log now appear in Apple Health too.
NOTIFICATIONS, ON YOUR CLOCK
Onyx plans the day instead of sending three things at 8:00: a read 25 minutes after your usual wake with the number that moved it, your session before the hour you usually train, protein left just before dinner, and bed by the time your sleep need asks for. At most three a day, nothing overnight, never the same finding twice. Settings shows exactly what's planned and when.
READINESS, RETHOUGHT
One ring, the number inside it, and where the day went: you woke at 82, leg day cost 14, and it climbs back over the evening. When your body is asking for rest, Today says so once — and the button is Recovery Mode. After 8 pm the plan leads with bed by 10:45 and what today tends to do to tonight.
TAP THE WHEEL
Every domain on the Body wheel reads itself: its grade, what it's built from, and the lever to pull. Stress, cardio fitness, weight, body composition, steps, how you move and Vitals all open on the answer, and Metabolism has a screen of its own.
AND EVERYTHING ELSE
• Coach's answers appear as they're written instead of all at once
• Share a personal record as a card; shared workouts open straight in Onyx, or show the workout to friends who don't have it yet
• Fitness: the week strip reads itself; session grades, records and push/pull/legs balance in Trends
• The Sunday review opens with your week as a sentence
• Scrolling is smooth again on every screen
• A proper iPad layout, in two columns
• VoiceOver reads live run stats, charts and every icon button
• A heads-up two days before a free trial ends
• Widgets in light mode, and the Watch no longer flickers during rest
