My Moral Compass

Reflect on values & choices

Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

Explore 19 everyday situations and the values behind your choices. Save a snapshot and unlock more with one purchase. Original Premium owners keep lifetime access. What guides your everyday choices? My Moral Compass is a private space to explore how you weigh competing values. Reflect on realistic situations, see a snapshot of your priorities, and return with a different perspective. There is no right answer, personality label, or moral grade. START WITH EVERYDAY LIFE Work through 19 situations with three possible responses each. Choose the response closest to what you would do. Your progress saves after every choice, so you can pause and return whenever you like. UNDERSTAND YOUR BALANCES Your responses contribute to seven value balances: • Care and harm avoidance • Fairness and favoritism • Loyalty and impartiality • Authority and autonomy • Honesty and outcome protection • Responsibility and compassion • Self-preservation and collective good Each balance describes a tension between priorities. Neither end is a better result. Tap a balance to read its explanation and understand how it is calculated. INCLUDED FOR FREE • Complete all 19 everyday situations • View your first three value balances • Keep one saved snapshot at a time • Review the responses behind your snapshot • Read about all seven value balances and browse 28 reflection prompts • Export and import supported backups PREMIUM: ONE PURCHASE, LIFETIME ACCESS • See all seven value balances • Save unlimited snapshots • Compare two snapshots side by side • Revisit seven situations under time pressure, at a personal cost, or with someone close to you in mind • Write unlimited private journal entries using the built-in collection of 28 prompts Premium is a one-time in-app purchase. There is no subscription or recurring payment. If you purchased Moral Compass Premium in an earlier version, your original purchase unlocks Premium here too. Use Restore Purchases with the same Apple Account if access is not recognized automatically. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account, ads, tracking, analytics, or AI. Your responses, snapshots, and journal entries are stored on your device. Reflection features work offline; purchasing and restoring Premium require the App Store. There is no automatic cloud sync. Export a backup when you want to keep a separate copy or move your data yourself. Apple device backups may also include app data. MADE FOR REFLECTION This app is a descriptive self-reflection tool. Its scenarios and scoring are not scientifically validated, diagnostic, or a measure of character. Differences between snapshots can reflect context, interpretation, or perspective; they are not a score to improve.
