Dots And Boxes Reprised
Entertainment
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Dots and Boxes is sharper, and more addictive than ever. It’s a game of simple rules where one wrong move can hand your opponent the entire board.
The Mission
Connect the dots, close the boxes, and claim your territory. It sounds easy, but in this game, patience is your greatest weapon. Will you play it safe, or will you set a trap that forces your opponent to give you a double-digit scoring streak?
Why You’ll Love It
Easy to Learn, Hard to Master: You can explain the rules in 30 seconds, but you’ll spend a lifetime perfecting your "chain-cutting" tactics.
Quick-Fire Rounds: Perfect for a five-minute break or a marathon session of "just one more game."
Strategic Depth: It’s not just about drawing lines; it’s about managing "sacrifices" and controlling the flow of the board.
Pure Nostalgia: The classic pen-and-paper experience, reimagined for your screen.
How to Play
Draw a Line: On your turn, click between two unjoined dots to create a side of a square.
Close a Box: If you complete the fourth side of a 1 times 1 box, you claim it! Your color fills the square, and you get one bonus turn.
Chain Reaction: Use your bonus turns to close as many boxes as possible in a single go.
Win the Game: Once every box is filled, the player with the most territory is crowned the Square Master.
