A new way in, and a quieter day. • New setup. Sign in, bring in your calendar and see exactly what came over, then add your first event: say what it is, when and where. When it needs a place, tap "Find the place" and pick from what's nearby. • Morning brief, if you want it. One notification with your day, only on days with an event or an occasion. You choose the time, and you can turn it off from the notification itself. • Leave-by reminders can now follow you. Allow location Always on an event's leave-by card, and when you move to a different place the reminder is recalculated from there, even with Composed closed. • Events from Apple or Google Calendar with a place Composed can find on the map now get a leave-by time too. • Reminders clean up after themselves. When something repeating is finished, removed or set to stop repeating on another device, its reminders are cleared here the next time you open Composed. • Repeating: everything that repeats, in one list, in sight on Today. Turn repeat off and the item stays on the day you were looking at. • Past: find something finished or let go, and bring it back. • A "Sync to Google Calendar" switch, in Settings. • Phone numbers from outside the US can be added to your profile.

Reminders that keep up with you. • Change a to-do on another device and its reminders update the next time you open Composed. • A weekly to-do with a deadline now shows on the coming weeks in Month. • Say "Submit payroll every Monday before 11pm" and it is saved as a deadline, starting today when today is that day. • On a full calendar, the reminders coming up soonest are kept first. • Leave-by reminders, and the last two hours before a deadline you asked Composed to keep on, are marked time-sensitive.

Deadlines that don't let go. • Say something like "Every Monday I need to submit payroll before 11pm" and Composed keeps reminding you until it's done: a few check-ins through the day, closer together in the last two hours, and one with fifteen minutes left. • Each of those reminders has two buttons, Done and Remind me later. • A weekly deadline now comes back every week, whether or not last week's was checked off. • Connecting Apple Calendar no longer brings the same event in twice.

Google Calendar gets its own switch. • If you connected Google Calendar, turn on "Sync to Google Calendar" in Settings and the events you add in Composed appear in Google Calendar too. Before, that switch only showed up once Apple Calendar was connected. • If calendar access was turned off, the Connect button now takes you to the right place in Settings, and your week comes over when you return. • Deleting your account now includes one optional question about why. You can skip it. • With "Sync to Calendar" on, repeating events brought in from Apple Calendar now keep their own dates. They could all move to the date of the first one.

Your calendar, all of it. • Connecting Apple Calendar now brings in your all-day events — days off, trips, holidays. Many of them weren't coming through, and for some calendars nothing was. • Flight itineraries saved to Google Calendar are now read as flights, with each leg and connection, even when the title doesn't say "flight." • When an event changes in Google Calendar, its notes now update in Composed too. A correction to our last notes: you can skip one occurrence of a repeating event or end the series, but editing a single occurrence still changes the whole series.

Nights, repeats, and a calmer week. BEDTIME A wind-down before bed that arrives without a sound, and a wake-up alarm that does sound — and keeps going until you stop it. Set both by dragging a dial. Choose a sleep goal and see the shortfall drawn, not flagged. REPEATING Say "every Monday at 9" and Composed keeps the whole series — on Today, in Month, and in your widgets. Skip a single occurrence, give the series an end, or change only the one you tapped. WIDGETS, PROPERLY INTRODUCED Composed now shows you how to put what's next on your Home Screen and Lock Screen, so you can see what's coming without opening anything. YOUR CALENDAR, AT SETUP Connect Apple or Google Calendar when you first sign in, and your week is already there. FIXED • A stay that arrived from both a screenshot and your calendar no longer shows up twice • Checkout now gets its own reminder, including after the hour has passed • "Dinner Saturday at 7, submit the expense report by Monday" no longer turns dinner into a deadline • Events no longer receive an invented duration when you didn't give one • Fixed a crash that could happen when opening an event • Clearer text throughout, and the sleep dial now behaves correctly with VoiceOver

Composed can ask you things now, and answer back. If something's missing, or the app isn't working the way you hoped, it will ask — once, quietly, and only after you've actually used it. One question, never a wall you have to get past. And when we build something you asked for, you'll hear about it, with your own words shown back to you. That's the part we kept forgetting to do.

Composed now speaks Spanish. Set your phone to Spanish and the whole app follows — every screen, every reminder, every prompt. Counts read correctly too: one night, two nights, and the same care in Spanish. Also fixed: a line on the capture screen that was being cut off mid-word, and two spots where VoiceOver read an icon's name aloud instead of staying quiet.

Some things don't belong at a clock time. Say "remind me to call my dad" without saying when, and it now stays with you — sitting under today, checking in quietly a few times, and moving itself to tomorrow until it's done. After a week it asks once whether to keep it or let it go. Things without a time no longer disappear partway through the day. And when we suggest an hour for you, we say so before the time, not after — and tell you how to change it.

One message can now do more. Say several things at once and they'll all be captured, and a list can carry its own items. Fewer interruptions. Everyday captures no longer stop to ask where — add a place only if you want one. Nearby places are ranked more sensibly, and distant matches no longer slip in. Things without a time now read "Anytime."

Capture got faster, and it stops interrupting you. • No more "What is this?" pop-up. Composed decides where things go — you can still change it afterwards with one tap. • A live waveform while you talk, so you can see it hearing you. It stays on screen while Composed thinks. • About two seconds less waiting after you stop speaking. It keeps everything you said. • "Dentist Thursday at 3 and pick up the kids at 5" now creates both. Before, everything after the first item was quietly dropped. Place lists search the place you named. • "Best coffee shops in Traverse City" searches Traverse City — not wherever you happen to be standing. Also fixed: signing out on one device no longer signs you out everywhere; voice reminders no longer open a location picker; server errors explain themselves instead of showing a generic message.

Sharper screenshot import: • Photos of posters and flyers now import reliably, even large ones. • When a poster shows a full street address, Composed pins that exact spot instead of suggesting nearby places. • A reliability fix keeps your schedule loading smoothly, even if a single event has unexpected data.

A beautiful new welcome — and your whole day, handled. • A cinematic first run that shows what Composed does: snap or say anything to schedule it, know exactly when to leave, and never miss an occasion. • Make any event unmissable — an alarm that breaks through Silent and Focus when it truly matters. • An event's checklist and its note are now one place, edited together. • Set a deadline and its reminder is scheduled with it, automatically. • Your events and lists stay in sync live across your devices. And quiet refinements throughout, so everything feels effortless.

Say "remind me to call mom at 5" and Composed sets a single moment — not a block on your day — and confirms "I'll remind you at 5:00 PM." Relative times like "in 15 minutes" now land exactly when you mean them. And prep tips stay honest: they only mention what we actually know about a place.

Composed just got better at understanding you. Say it the way you'd say it to a friend — "take a note," "rent due Friday," "lunch Saturday," "dinner at seven" — and Composed files it as the right thing, at a sensible time, in the right place. No fields. No fiddling. It just gets what you meant. Notes stay notes, to-dos stay to-dos, meals get a smart default time, and place suggestions know what's actually open when you'll be there — plus gentle hints while you talk, and a Home Screen that keeps up the instant you add something. The most effortless way to plan keeps getting more effortless.

Birthdays and anniversaries, finally calm. They no longer crowd your day like to-dos. Birthdays and anniversaries now live in their own gentle Occasions card — names, ages, and how soon — so your schedule shows what you actually need to do, while the people you care about stay right there. The whole app also respects Reduce Motion now, and reads cleanly with VoiceOver and larger text.

Sharper flight display. Arrival times now show in the destination airport's local time with a clear TZ label — a SAN → DTW flight reads "9:46 PM EDT" instead of the phone-converted equivalent. Leave-by times include airport check-in and security buffers for flights, so the Today card matches the detail view down to the minute. If your boarding pass hints at a connecting flight, Composed now tells you and points you to Add Details so you can capture the second leg too.

Sharper screenshot import. Flights, hotels, and event screenshots are now read at full resolution everywhere you drop one — including when you add details to an existing trip. Smaller fonts and dense confirmations come through more reliably. Smarter flight handling. When key flight info is missing from a screenshot, you'll be asked only for the few specific details we couldn't read — instead of saving an incomplete event. Reliability. Dedupe fixes prevent duplicate events from re-imported confirmations. Multi-leg flight time handling is sturdier.

Composed 1.7 is our biggest update since launch. Snap a hotel confirmation and we pull out 15 details — check-in/out, lockbox code, address, the works. Round-trip flights become two events from one screenshot. Month view gets weather forecasts and clean multi-day bars for trips and stays. Notes got a rich text editor and voice capture, with two-way sync to the events they belong to. Reminders are calmer. Departure alerts handle cross-timezone flights properly. New: pick Pro at the pace that fits — weekly, annual, or lifetime. Calendar-synced events don't use up your free-tier slots.
