Stay in contact with your extended family. All family members can contact each other, including sending group emails. Remind others of family reunions, weddings and deaths. See family relationships, to remind you of who belongs to whom. See parents and children in family groups. Look up people on your phone at family get-togethers to remember their names. Check all of the upcoming birthdays for any given month. The grouping function lets you create sub-sets of family members, who you can then send emails to just that group with one click. Have as many different groupings as you need. We all have ways to stay in contact with our close friends and colleagues.
