Creative camera borders: - Frame your camera with a solid color, a gradient, or an animated gradient that sweeps around the frame — the look streamers use — plus an optional soft glow. - Pick a one-tap preset like Neon, Rainbow, Sunset, or Ocean, or choose your own two or three colors, angle, and speed. - Borders follow any shape (rounded, square, circle) and render in the same pass as the rest of the composite, so they cost nothing extra while recording. Filters for every source: - Each camera or screen layer gets its own Filters tab: color correction (brightness, contrast, saturation, gamma, hue, warmth, opacity) and sharpening, alongside the existing Green Screen and Apple background removal. - The preview mirrors the recording's color math exactly, so what you tune is what you get. Separate settings for screen and camera: - Advanced capture quality now has a Screen / Camera switch, so each stream can have its own codec and bitrate — useful because a screen and a moving camera compress very differently. - The High, Max, and Compat profiles still apply to both streams at once; only Advanced lets them differ, so simple setups stay simple. - Your camera profile starts from your current settings, so nothing changes until you adjust it. Video bitrate now applies to screen recordings: - The Advanced video bitrate previously only affected the camera. Screen recordings ignored it and were captured near-lossless, producing very large files. - Your bitrate is now honored for screen capture too, so you can balance quality and file size. Default profiles are unchanged. Quick preview toggle: - A Preview On / Preview Off button now sits above the previews. Stop the live preview to save CPU and GPU while you set up, then turn it back on — no trip to Settings. Record into a custom folder: - Send a recording's files straight into a folder you choose — like the project folder for that video — instead of only the global output folder. Those recordings still list, export, and recover like any other, and the list groups everything by project so takes saved in different folders stay together. Timeline export now includes your camera: - When you record a camera paired with a microphone, the camera now appears on the DaVinci Resolve and Final Cut Pro timelines you export, on its own track alongside your displays and audio, with no doubled audio. Exports still link to your captured files directly. Transcription recovers from interrupted downloads: - If a speech model didn't finish downloading, Lumary no longer reports it as ready and then fails.
