Most AI assistants send every word you type and every image you share to a remote server. Cloaked takes a fundamentally different approach. The AI runs directly on your device using Apple's MLX framework, purpose-built for Apple Silicon. There is nothing to breach, nothing to leak, and nothing to sell. Your data stays yours.
PRIVATE AI WITH BUILT-IN WEB SEARCH
Ask questions that need real-time information and Cloaked will search the web using DuckDuckGo. Only the search query leaves your device. Results come back, the AI processes them locally, and your conversation remains private. Toggle web search per message with the globe icon, or enable Smart Auto-Search in Settings to let the AI decide when a search would help. No other on-device AI chat app gives you web search without sending your data to the cloud.

Attach a photo and Cloaked's vision-capable models can describe scenes, read text in images, identify objects, or answer questions about what they show. Perfect for translating menus, understanding diagrams, summarizing screenshots, or just asking "what is this?" about anything you photograph. All processing happens on your device. No image ever leaves your phone. Available with Qwen 3.5 and other vision-enabled models.
WATCH THE AI THINK
Thinking Mode lets you see the AI reason through complex problems step by step before delivering a final answer. Follow the chain of thought as it works through logic, math, code, writing tasks, and creative brainstorming. Available with Qwen 3, Qwen 3.5, and DeepSeek models. A private reasoning AI and research assistant that never phones home.

INTELLIGENT MEMORY
Cloaked remembers what matters across conversations. Preferences, facts, and context persist between chats so you never repeat yourself. Memory is stored locally and can be viewed, edited, or deleted at any time. Nothing is synced, uploaded, or shared.
