Click checkboxes to toggle them. Select a choice from radio groups. Fill in blanks with text, dates, or file paths. Advance status pipelines. Accept or reject suggested edits. Leave inline and line-level comments. Submit approvals and reviews. Seven control types in total, all rendered from standard markdown syntax. Every interaction saves back to the .md file automatically. 3.1 adds some fixes for radio button behavior (particularly when leaving notes) AI COMMANDS Ask the on-device AI to modify interactive elements through natural language. "Mark all Section 3 tasks as done." "Set the status to review." The AI reads the document, finds the controls, and writes the changes for you. MULTI-WINDOW Each browser window is fully independent with its own folder, file selection, and chat session. Open as many as you need. ENHANCED AND PLAIN MODES Switch between Enhanced mode (visual controls with hover states) and Plain mode (raw markdown with click targets). AI CHAT IMPROVEMENTS Local AI models are still pretty limited, but 3.0 introduces some enhancements that will make the chat experience slightly better until local AI improves.

New Feature – Pixley now watches folders and auto-updates when files are added, removed or modified from your folder.

Recent Items: Quickly reopen folders and files you've been working with. Your recent items appear right on the start screen alongside your folder shortcuts, and in the new File > Open Recent menu.

New rendering engine, 10+ color themes, Quick Switcher, search within documents, line bookmarks, reading progress, scroll position memory, file favorites, a full settings window, and automatic file change detection. Also now runs on macOS 15 Sequoia and later — AI chat still requires macOS 26.
