Cards for special days Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, letters to Santa, and New Year wishes are suggested as they come near, on the dates your country celebrates them. Fewer, kinder reminders At most one notification a day, timed to when your child usually practices, plus a Sunday summary of their week. Every reminder can be turned off. Made for each child Set a learning level for each child, and their settings, stickers, and journey follow them across your family’s iPads. What's new in Manuscript Kids 2.1 • A home for teachers: tell the app whether you're a parent or a teacher. Teachers now get their classroom tools first, under their own titles. • Fairer practice: each try at a letter counts once, however many strokes it takes, and a scribble that misses the letter no longer counts toward the daily goal. After three tough tries, the lesson now offers help. • Strokes stay put: a line no longer disappears the moment your child lifts the pencil. • Practice Together works: with SharePlay, everyone now sees each other's writing, each in their own color. • Classroom Mode goes live: the teacher's iPad shows the letter picker and the students as soon as broadcasting starts, and the session no longer appears under a child's name. • Stronger parent controls: the parent PIN is asked for again after the app restarts, "Delete All My Data" now removes everything, and you can rename a child. • You decide about AI: a new switch in Settings turns AI-written tips and summaries off; the app's own text is used instead. • Goals you can see: the goals you set now appear on the dashboard with real progress, and the Teacher Report shows actual practice time and each student's own age. • Clearer pricing: the price you'll be billed is shown right above the purchase button, with the real yearly savings. • Quieter notifications: new families start with a daily reminder and a weekly summary; the rest are one switch away. • More of the app in your language: tips, labels, cards and messages are now translated, parents are addressed formally where the language expects it, and Turkish, Polish, Swedish and Traditional Chinese text has been corrected. • Handwriting styles renamed: they're now called Classic Upright, Gently Slanted, and Simple Shapes. Your choice is kept. • Plus: the Parent Language setting, which had no effect, is gone. The app follows your iPad's language — and many smaller fixes.

Fixed and a deleted child profile now genuinely disappears after 30 days. Easier to read Every main button has been re-measured for contrast, and text now scales properly with your iPad's text-size setting. One consistent look A design pass across the whole app: one palette, one button style, one voice. 29 languages, fully translated Every screen is now translated in all 29 supported languages, with no stray English left behind. Also: a grown-up check before the upgrade screen, a Progress screen that no longer shows stale numbers, and Penny greeting first-time visitors properly.

What's New in 1.7 Penny finally introduces herself. The first time she meets your child she says hello properly, and the Trophy Room welcomes newcomers instead of welcoming them back. Progress that actually moves. Level, XP and streaks on the Progress screen now update as your child practises. Easier on the eyes. Every button has been retuned for contrast, and much more of the app now grows with your iPad's text size setting. One look throughout. Colours, buttons and wording are consistent from the first screen to the last, in both light and dark mode. Complete in all 30 languages, including a few labels that had quietly stayed in English. Purchases now sit behind the parent gate. Also fixed: a comeback message that could greet your child with an impossible number of days away, a goodnight screen that said goodnight in the morning, and a practice timer that counted time your child wasn't practising.
