Lunora on your home screen, and the Qur'an page in a frame. Widgets • Ten of them: the next prayer, The day's prayers, today's verse, where you left off in the Qur'an, your tesbih as a ring, Beaded tesbih, your streak, the 99 names, a hadith, and Protect my prayer. • On the Lock Screen too — the next prayer, a verse to read, your tesbih as a ring, and the rest. • The picker tells you what each one holds and how often it changes. The tesbih widget counts • Tap the beads and the number moves, without opening Lunora. • Tap the reading above them to move to the next dhikr. • Whatever you count there is waiting in the app, on the same day. Two of them come with Lunora+ • The day's prayers, and Beaded tesbih. • Every small size stays free, and so does every Lock Screen one. The Mushaf • A fine gold rule around every page, and a richer one on the opening of Al-Fatihah and Al-Baqarah. • The verse counter and the listening bar are there too, below the page — and the counter names the verses the page holds, not only its first. • While you listen, the verse being recited turns green on the page itself. Hold the icon • The Qur'an, the Qibla and today's prayer times now open straight from your home screen. • And if you are leaving, there is a way to tell us what went wrong. And in the app • A setup screen shows you how to place a widget on your phone, step by step. • Today's verse now turns every hour, from 323 of them; the hadith and the name of the day turn three times a day. • The gear on the prayer, dhikr and Qur'an cards now tells you what it holds. • If you are with Lunora+, you can see everything it gives you, any time, from your profile. • Lunora asks for a rating far less often. • Prayer notifications now arrive on time even when a Focus is on. • Tapping the evening dua notification now takes you to the duas.

This one took a while, and it is the biggest update Lunora has had. First, a thank you. To every sister who has been with us from the beginning, who wrote to us, asked questions and said "this would be better if…" — much of what is below started as one of your sentences. We read all of them. The Qur'an reader • Mushaf mode — page by page, as the Madina edition is printed. • A gear on the reader: background, text size, keep the screen on. • The Arabic in Latin letters, in two styles. • Tajweed colouring, with a key for the colours. • Repeat a verse, change the speed, choose what happens at a surah's end. • The English translation is now the Rowwad edition. The tesbih, rebuilt • Three views: a ring, a bead string, a tally counter. • Eight bead materials — amber, jade, ebony and more. • Free counting is the default now; the tesbihat is a tap away. • Turn the vibration off on its own, separately from the tick. Protect my prayer • When a prayer time comes in, the apps you chose pause. Mark the prayer and they open again. • Setup shows you what each screen will look like before it appears. Prayer times and your city • Search for your city in your own alphabet, and see its name in your language. • Prayer times now come from your city's coordinates. • Morocco and Jordan methods, and the Maldives.

Prayer times, more accurately — and a few fixes. • Your city is now chosen from a list instead of typed, so prayer times are calculated for exactly where you are. • A hitch in the rating flow is fixed. • "Restore purchases" now works properly, and the Lunora+ page opens reliably instead of waiting on an empty screen. • One more analytics signal was removed. Your notes and cycle records were already stored only on your device.

This update is about getting the times right. • In Algeria, Maghrib was being announced earlier than it should be. Fixed. • When you leave the app while a recitation is playing, the notification now speaks your language. The verse number and the reciter's name read correctly — they used to appear in English. • Two rows that overflowed on small screens are repaired: the one showing your streak, and the prayer card's heading. • The plus/minus control for fine-tuning prayer times was not working. Fixed. • The wording on the Lunora+ page is clearer. As always, Lunora works offline and nothing leaves your device. If something looks wrong, or you'd like something added, write to us — this is one person's work, and every message is read.

We also tell you which narration the list follows and why scholars differ on it, because a name is not something to present without its provenance. A hadith collection. Thirty-seven narrations with their Arabic text, sources, and translations. Grouped by theme, saveable, and readable in the app. More daily verses. The pool is larger, and every verse now shows the same translation you see in the Quran reader — no more two different renderings of the same ayah. Weekly plan with a 3-day free trial. A smaller commitment for those who want to try Lunora+ first. Ghusl reminder. When you mark your period as ended, Lunora can remind you. Optional, off by default, and never triggered by a prediction — only by what you record yourself. Missed fast tracking. If your period falls in Ramadan, Lunora offers to add those days to your qada list. A count, not a ruling. Also in this update The app is 21 MB smaller. Translations were reviewed across all nine languages, with corrections to French, German, Indonesian and Urdu. Prayer settings are now reachable from the prayer card itself. Many small fixes throughout.

Prayer notifications now arrive at the exact prayer time. Previously, notifications were sent 10 minutes early while saying the time had come. This is now fixed — the adhan plays when the time truly enters. If you'd like an early reminder, you can enable it separately from Settings and choose your own timing. Iftar notifications now arrive at the exact maghrib time.
