Security: your device's notification token is no longer stored where other people could read it. Nothing you need to do - it moves across on its own when you open the app. Sharing a photo to Txty keeps working as Txty tightens how it handles post visibility. If a share is ever refused, the app now tells you to update rather than sending you to re-link an account that was never broken.

Your linked Txty account no longer appears to disconnect on its own. It never actually did - the app only read your profile once when you signed in, so linking on another device, or on the web, stayed invisible until you restarted.

Photos no longer get a dark edge when you post them. Android's cropper was padding the image and that padding was being saved into the picture itself. Tapping a JPEGS link from Txty now lands on the photo with a way back, rather than stranding you there. The Tapes link on a profile opens the Tapes app at your profile instead of a browser. Linking a Txty account created with Google or Apple now works, from Txty.

Notifications now reach you. When someone likes your photo, comments on it or follows you, you'll get a notification - and tapping it opens the post or profile it's about. Commenting used to tell the author nothing at all. It does now. You can turn notifications off any time in Settings. The keyboard no longer covers the box you're typing in.

Icons are back. The tab bar buttons, notifications heart and create button were all rendering blank on Android - a font the app needs never loaded. Photos no longer show a faint line along their bottom edge. Your profile now shows its web address. Tap it to copy your jpegs.me link. Sharing a photo to Txty works again, and deleting the photo now removes the Txty post too. Posts are public. The "only me" option is retired - anything you archived stays private, and only you can publish it.

Fixes an issue that stopped JPEGS opening on the latest version of iOS. A new look, and a simpler way to follow people: • A new app icon, and Home is now a camera shutter • Your feed shows the people you follow; Explore shows everything • Connections are gone — following someone is all it takes, and your existing connections have become follows • Private posts are now archived: only you can see them, and you can make one public again whenever you like • Photos you have already seen no longer download again every time you open the app • Explore and profile grids load much smaller images, so they appear almost instantly • Tap Followers or Following on your profile to see who is there • Tap someone's photo in Activity to go straight to their profile • Shared links now open the post in the app

Share a photo from JPEGS straight to your linked Txty profile as a link. Plus interface and stability fixes across the app.

Txty links now open the Txty app, and linked accounts show the verified handle and photo.

Link your TAPES and Txty profiles to your JPEGS account, so people can find you across all three apps.

Polish pass: refreshed styling on the notifications, post, and profile screens to match the rest of the app, plus a fix for the keyboard covering the comment box on posts.

JPEGS just got a big glow-up: - Brand-new modern design with a glass tab bar - Double-tap any photo to like it - Instant startup - your feed is there the moment the app opens - Photos load faster and never re-download - Dark mode, rebuilt and gorgeous - Fixed profiles sometimes showing 0 posts
