I just d/l’d this game & have only played a few levels. I love it! There are the usual amount of ads before starting & completing the level, so I have no complaints there. So far. I’ve never played this type of game before, so the game is exciting. If anything changes, I’ll post my comments here.REVISION:After a month or so of playing this game, I am revising my initial review.Everything I wrote in first paragraph is still true to me. But I now know there are too few levels to continue playing. I’m out of pictures to solve! Were I to continue playing I would have to re-play the puzzles I completed. There are too few new drawings to keep playing indefinitely. This is too bad, as I love this game. The devs need to ad many more drawings & levels.

This is recently made much too easy. And now it is boring. You touch a dot- a bunch of colors move around but not your own doing lor choices - it just does it. It fills up the tray with whatever color IT wants, destroying any strategy i might be thinking,. it fills up whether you want it filled or not,with colors you may not want -it just moves stuff around. It’s now biring wastvhing the impatient AI - irs like like watching someone vacuum a rug now, nothing to think about our plan just watch it play the game for you I can’t play it anymore., it upsets me when these things are going on behind the scenes that I don’t see. also, as some other people have noted the buy an empty row button is way way way too close to what’s going on. Several times now I have purchased a row with only two moves to go that I didn’t really need using up a lot of my coins just for that mistake. Would really appreciate if I could play the game and not watch ‘someone’ else play it. Too very bad. I very much love the idea of it and the way you’ve arranged the pictures and things, but this non available action is just crazy.

Like the title says, I’ve played about 3-4 of these color gem games, and I think I like this one the best. The UI is responsive and clean, I don’t really have a problem with accidentally spending coins like some people do. My only complaint is that the rewards from progressing on the weekly tier thing will start immediately and go for a length of time. A lot of times I play this on this bus, so I might close the app after I finish a puzzle, then walk home and open it back up, only to realize my 15 minute timer for a free row has already started and I’ve got 3 minutes left.

Either the game is entirely too short, or the developers have cleverly paywalled most of the game. Based on the number of jigsaw puzzles that can be unlocked, I suspect the latter. Initially you start with a theme of color gem levels that are unlocked with hearts, of which you have plenty to start with and are never really a concern. After solving the four or five puzzles available another theme unlocks with more puzzles. In the remaining two free puzzle themes there is at least one puzzle that is unlocked via coins, the in-game currency. Coins can be purchased with actual money or earned by completing levels and watching ads. Coins also buy additional trays where excess color gems may be stored while solving. These trays only last through that play through. Solving the coin unlockable levels allows you to complete all of the puzzles in a given theme and rewards you with coins and jigsaw puzzle pieces. Collecting enough of these unlocks the first of many jigsaw puzzles. However by this point you will have completed all of the puzzles available to you for free. No other themes are unlocked at this point beyond the 3 you will have completed. These can be replayed, but the game does not change or offer additional rewards for doing so, and your performance is not evaluated so reattempting them to improve is pointless. The only content left is the first jigsaw puzzle. It is unknown whether completing this will unlock more content as completing it for free is impossible. You are given only five of the 36 total pieces to place on a board whose difficult to see lines make placement frustrating. However once all five pieces are placed you are done. You can watch a 1 minute ad to earn a single piece for placement, and this can only be done once every five minutes, and only a total of 5 times. You can also purchase 3 pieces for 200 coins. Which won’t get you very far as completing the regular levels to unlock the jigsaw puzzles leaves you only two to three hundred even if you watch ads after each puzzle to triple your rewards. Leaving you to purchase more coins with real money until the jigsaw puzzle is solved.
