Retropa 2.0 opens a new arcade era. This release adds Arcade core support for major boards and systems including CPS I/II/III, PGM, Neo Geo, M92 and MP/T/W. Bring your own files, keep them in your personal library, and play with the same save, rewind, controller and TV-focused experience you already expect from Retropa. Also new in 2.0: Retropa's exclusive HD custom skin system, built for richer layouts, more modes and a cleaner handheld feel across supported systems. No games or BIOS files are included. Please import only files you legally own and have the right to use.

Retropa 1.4.0 keeps moving the small setup work out of your way, so your library feels more personal and easier to return to across your devices. The new Skin Download Center gives you one clear place to browse, download, and manage handheld-style skins. When you want a different look for a favorite game, it is easier to find the right style, switch it on, and make the screen feel closer to the device you remember. iCloud sync is here as well. Your saves and play progress can follow you between iPhone and iPad, so continuing a run feels more natural and depends less on manual file handling. NES compatibility has been upgraded too, with steadier support across more classic 8-bit games. If you keep a NES collection in Retropa, more of it should feel ready to pick up and play. We also fixed issues and improved everyday performance across library handling, playback stability, and smaller details throughout the app. The goal is still simple: less setup, fewer interruptions, and more time choosing what to play next.

Skins, CRT and other filters, controllers, touch controls, save states, and rewind are easier to reach, so experimenting and jumping back into a run feels lighter. The goal is simple: less time thinking about setup, more time choosing what to play tonight.
