I Forgot The List: Grocery App
Lists, Coupons & Savings
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Grocery shopping is a chore. We make it less of one.
I Forgot The List is a fast, voice-first grocery list app. Tap the mic and speak naturally. We figure out the items, quantities, and notes. No more typing one product at a time on a tiny keyboard while you're trying to remember what you're out of.
How it works:
• Voice add. Say a few items at once and we capture each one separately, with quantities and notes attached. Mention something already on your list and we update it instead of skipping.
• Smart suggestions. The list learns from what you actually buy and how often.
• Real-time household sharing. Share the list with anyone you like. Add or check off items and changes appear live across devices.
• Department grouping. Items group by produce, dairy, pantry, etc.

more I am obsessed with this app— the best part is that we have a shared grocery list for our household so any of us can add items. I also love the ability to use audio so I can just talk to it and it adds items to my list without even typing! A must have for sure.

• Checked-off items stay checked while saving, and newly added items stay visible when your list refreshes.
• Voice entry keeps items from successive recordings when processing overlaps.
• Settings clearly identifies lifetime access and shows no upcoming payments.
• Account deletion explains what shared household members keep, that the same-email Coupons account is also deleted, and that App Store or Google Play subscriptions must be canceled separately.

2.0.19 Aug 16
You can now set a preferred brand and store for any item, so your list matches what you actually buy. Group your list by store to shop one place at a time.
2.0.15 Jul 4
New items stay put. Fixed a glitch where an item you just added could briefly disappear before coming back. New items now stick to your list the moment you add them.
2.0.13 Jun 24
Switch between households: if you belong to more than one household, you can now switch between them right from the Household screen. Your list, items, and history follow whichever household you're in. The switcher only appears once you've been invited to a second household, so nothing changes if you just have one.
Plus a lighter background sync that's easier on battery and data, and a few smaller fixes.
2.0.10 Jun 17
- Completed items now start expanded so you can see what you've checked off at a glance. Tap the Completed header to hide them.
- Adding items is quick and reliable again. Fixed a hang where a new item would appear, then vanish with a connection error.
- Your typed item name sticks. Adding "paper" no longer flips to "Paper Towels" when it saves, and renames from the details view show up on your list.
- You stay signed in for up to 90 days when you're away. Any visit resets the clock.
- Fixed a crash that could happen during sync when Reduce Motion is on.
- Fixed the launch screen logo showing up tiny.
- The app keeps one live sync connection instead of two, which saves a little battery and data.

New accounts now start with a 7-day Premium trial automatically.
Cleaned up button colors on login and onboarding for better contrast.
Fixed the disabled Join Household button label so it's readable.

• Quick "rate the app" prompt
• New privacy choices and data export from Settings

2.0.1 May 22
This is a big one
We've split the app to focus on what users wanted most: a fast, voice-first grocery list. Coupon clipping moved to its own dedicated app: I Forgot The Coupons.
What's new in 2.0:
VOICE-FIRST
Tap the mic and speak naturally. We figure out what you said, what you meant, and add it to your list, including quantities and notes. No typing, no fumbling at the store.
REDESIGNED LIST
Department grouping with icons makes finding things on your list as fast as scanning aisles. Tap any item for purchase history, notes, and quantity edits.
SMART SUGGESTIONS
Your suggestions come from what you actually buy and how often, not just popular items. Items already on your list don't show up.
SHARED IN REAL TIME
Share your list with your household and watch updates appear live across devices.
Plus dozens of fixes around onboarding, paywalls, search, swipe actions, and login stability.
2.0 May 8
Voice dictation got smarter. Say “get the sugar free one” and it saves as a shopping note, not part of the item name. Already have an item on your list? Mention it with a preference and it updates instead of skipping.
New coupon tools: sort by relevance or savings, see why each coupon matched your list, and matching coupons auto-clip when you sync. Clipping is about 2x faster too.
Edits on the detail page show up instantly when you go back.
