Plan in Claude. It lands in your app.
Tally is a fast, no-fluff workout tracker — and the first strength app Claude can write to directly. Connect once, then plan your training the way you'd talk to a coach: "Plan my next week around squat and bench, three days." Open Tally and your week is there — planned days with exercises, sets, and target weights, ready to log.
HOW THE CLAUDE ROUNDTRIP WORKS
• Connect once from Settings → Connect to Claude (a one-minute, one-time setup)
• Chat through your plan — goals, schedule, exercises, sets and reps
• Claude reads your upcoming plan and recent history, then writes planned workouts straight into your week
• On gym day, tap Start Workout — everything is prefilled and ready to check off
Tally works with Claude accounts that support custom connectors (Claude Pro and Max). Your data stays scoped to your own account, and you can disconnect anytime. Tally is an independent app and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic.
BUILT FOR THE GYM FLOOR
• Fast, offline-first logging — no spinners between sets
• A big, glove-friendly keypad and one-tap set check-offs
• Rest timer that starts itself when you finish a set
• Swap an exercise, jot a note, or pull up your history without leaving the workout
• Modify the whole workout by text or voice, mid-session
PLAN YOUR WEEK, YOUR WAY
• Week view with planned, completed, and open days
• Program templates (Push/Pull/Legs and more) or build days from scratch
• A full exercise library with search, muscle filters, and custom exercises
SEE WHAT'S WORKING
• Muscle-map volume breakdown of your recent training
• Post-workout ratings and notes, favorites for the sessions you repeat
• Workout summaries and full history export — your data is yours
THE BASICS DONE RIGHT
• Dark mode by default, light mode if you insist
• Sign in with Apple or Google; your log syncs to the cloud
• No ads, no feed, no social layer — just training
I’ve really enjoyed using the Tally workout app, especially the personalized suggestions it provides. Instead of giving you generic workouts, the app tailors routines based on your goals, progress, and what you’re actually able to do. It makes working out feel much more approachable and efficient because the plans adapt to you rather than forcing you into a one-size-fits-all program. I also like that it takes some of the mental load out of fitness planning. It’s less guesswork, more structure, and workouts that feel intentional. Been looking for something like this for a while and excited to continue using.
Optimal Workout App

This is the exactly what I have been looking for. Great way to track workouts and quickly find new ones right before the gym through AI integration.
Helps me work around injuries
Wv_
I wanted something simple. Something to replace the physical logbook that I’ve been using for 10 years. Figured it was time to try something digital. Tally seems to fit the bill, just really smooth. It’s also super helpful if you’re dealing with an injury. I can say something like “hip flexor hurts” and it will give me a few exercises and some details on how to perform with links out to YouTube. Pretty cool.
Claude now hands you back to Tally. When your coach updates your plan, tap "Open updated workout in Tally" to jump straight to that day. Plus: a guided Claude connect flow, better week syncing when plans change, and small fixes.
