6.2.11 Oct 12
- First capture takes you straight to Today. Find people by where you met, with event people ready before you open the sheet.
- All nine app languages are complete, including Arabic right-to-left layout, improved Arabic shaping and offline Russian fonts.
- More works offline: contacts, edits, groups, follow-ups and messages save on your phone and sync when connected. Business card captures keep the original photo and optional voice note for later processing.
- Add photos taken around a meeting, with limited photo-library access and the system picker supported.
- Remember how you met: every person shows where you met them, and their page opens with the venue, your voice note and their business card.
- Photos together: add a selfie or group photo and tag the faces yourself. One group photo appears on everyone in it. Your photos remain private to you.
- Recording you can trust: voice notes are retained even when you speak softly and support the language you speak.
- Classic is the default look. Choose Maldives in Settings > Appearance and your choice stays.
- Clearer glass, consistent icons and a network map that opens on your whole network before gliding in to readable names.
- Connect LinkedIn inside the app and open LinkedIn profiles in the LinkedIn app.
- Card scan reads business cards and LinkedIn, Telegram or WhatsApp profile screenshots. QR swap scans automatically.
- Events: TechCrunch Disrupt comes first, the people card folds to show the programme, and a tap adds a session to your calendar with its details and address.
- Follow-ups remain one tap away from Home, with stability fixes in both looks.
5.7.11 Oct 11
- Recording you can trust: every voice note is kept, even when you speak softly, and recording no longer stops hearing you a moment after it starts.
- Classic is the new look for everyone. Prefer Maldives? Switch in Settings > Appearance and it stays.
- Frosted glass at your thumb: "Find anyone" and the menu bar are see-through frosted glass with the mic set in its own cut-out. While you read, search tucks into a small "Find" bead; scroll up and it comes back. Hold the mic for four more ways to add someone.
- Your network, alive: the map opens on your whole network from above, draws the lines out from you, then glides in until names are readable.
- Works offline: Home, your contacts, a person's page with their voice notes, follow-ups, groups, events, your card and the map open instantly from your phone.
- Card scan, redesigned: point at a business card, or pick a screenshot of a LinkedIn, Telegram or WhatsApp profile.
- QR swap scans by itself the moment a code is in view.
- Events: TechCrunch Disrupt comes first, the people card folds so the programme shows, "Up next" points at real sessions, and one tap adds a session to your calendar with the full details and address.
- Follow-ups are one tap away again from the top of Home.
- Many fixes and a calmer, clearer app in both looks.
5.5.14 Oct 10
- A new assistant: ask anything about your network and get clear answers with sources you can tap, in one conversation, like the chat apps you know.
- Event pages start with the people: who's there, who you know, search by role, see everyone, or see them on your network map.
- Tap anyone on an event's attendee list to see who they are, find their LinkedIn, and save them to your contacts.
- Share someone properly: their card shows every number, email and profile next to the QR, with Share contact, Save to phone contacts, Introduce to… and Send them my card.
- Network map: the lines between people are back, and you can see everyone from an event or company in one tap.
- Classic gets bolder colour where it helps you tell things apart.
5.2.12 Oct 9
Your network map is rebuilt to be useful, not just pretty.
- It opens on everyone on Octograf, and your own people are easy to find.
- Search by name, company or a description like "iOS developer" or "founder": the people who match gather at the top of the map.
- Names are readable, every circle has its own label, and lines show how people are connected.
- Tap anyone to see how you're connected and who you know in common.
- The search panel is see-through, so the map stays in view.
Classic: tick follow-ups done right on Home, and long-press the mic for more ways to capture.
4.1.6 Oct 4
Build your profile in 30 seconds. Add a few screenshots of your LinkedIn profile, your resume as a PDF or Word file, or photos of a paper resume — Octograf reads them and fills in your title, company, city, about, work history, education, skills, languages and links. You check everything and nothing is saved until you tap Save.
Profiles now tell the whole story: open anyone's profile to see what they do, where they've worked and studied, their skills and the languages they speak.
4.1.4 Oct 1
What's new in 4.1.3:
Adding someone is one tap. Tap the mic and every way in is right there: talk, camera, swap cards, or type a name and paste anything — a signature, a card, a link. Whatever you use, it ends on the same review: who they are, where you met, what you talked about, and when to follow up.
Swap cards: your QR and the camera side by side. Point at their code while they scan yours, and you're both saved. Scan a printed card's QR and it goes straight to the review.
Events: conferences happening now, coming up and past, with full programmes, speakers, stages and session times. Say you're going, see who else you know is going, check in to a session, and every contact you capture at the event is tagged with it.
Works with no signal. Going, check-ins and your notes wait on the phone and send when you're back online.
When someone you saved joins Octograf, we ask whether it's the same person so your notes link to their profile.
One sheet for all your links on the QR card. Faster search. Fixes for iOS 27.
4.1.3 Sep 27
Fixes an issue that prevented Octograf from opening on iOS 27.
Voice contacts update more reliably when processing finishes, including after returning to the app or a connection interruption.
Improves recovery of recordings when processing needs to retry.
3.15.1 Sep 25
• ICT Week, in your pocket. The whole four-day programme with every session, hall and speaker, what is on right now in each hall with the time left, your own talk counting down, and one tap to put the day in your calendar with the hall as the location.
• The speakers, with their faces. Names, titles and photographs from the published programme, a searchable directory of everyone speaking, and one tap to save any of them to your contacts with their links.
• Your card in Apple Wallet. Double press the side button and let them scan it. The event pass comes too, and it keeps itself up to date with the next session.
• Notes remember where you were. Turn on capture location and a voice note keeps the place with it, and at an event it keeps the session. Your exact coordinates never leave your phone.
• A rebuilt first run, a new Saved page and clearer Settings, with recordings that are never lost and never stuck.
• Meetings carry their context from your calendar into the note you record afterwards, and the same event synced from two places is no longer listed twice.
3.15.0 Sep 23
A calendar inside Octograf.
MONTH VIEW
The Actions Hub now switches between your list and a month. Every day shows
what it holds: a small aeroplane for a flight, a dot for a meeting, one for a
task due, red when it is overdue, and an outline for a reminder. Tap a day and
everything on it opens below — the same cards you already swipe and complete.
WARNINGS BEFORE THE DAY ITSELF
Flights and conferences now warn you seven days ahead, then three, two, one,
and on the day. An early departure moves its last warning to the evening
before, because a 3:20 AM flight warned at 8 AM is a warning that arrives
after take-off. Meetings get the day before and the morning of. Scheduled on
your phone, so they work without a signal, and switchable off in Settings.
YOUR TASKS IN YOUR CALENDAR
Turn it on in Settings and every open task and reminder with a due date appears
in your own calendar. Change a due date and the entry moves; finish the task
and it disappears.
VOICE NOTES THAT SAY SOMETHING
Contact cards used to open with the first words of the recording, which were
always "so I just met…". They now lead with what the conversation was actually
about, and the full transcript sits one tap under the waveform when you need to
check a name.
1.12.0 Sep 22
• A redesigned welcome and a five-page tour that opens on a real network, not a mockup.
• A new Saved page: one card per contact, no boxes, no spinner.
• Settings rebuilt — your profile at the top, airy groups, clearer Premium status.
• Recordings are never lost, never stuck: an in-flight card shows your own recording, and progress keeps flowing even if you leave the screen.
• Sign-in and finish-profile redrawn, and a cleaner profile page.
Thanks for using Octograf!
1.11.0 Sep 21
A clearer Actions Hub
See where you stand the moment you open it — Today, Late,
Flagged and Done, each with a live count. Tap one to filter.
Approvals, meetings and travel now sit in a single line
instead of pushing your actions down the screen.
Follow-ups tell you when
Every next step on a contact now shows when it's due and
what it's about, not just its title. Anything late reads
as late.
Ticking things off actually works
Fixed a bug where completing an action could fail on a
weak connection. Completions now retry, and if something
does go wrong the app tells you what — instead of "try
again".
1.10.0 Jul 26
Your network, alive! and a feed only people can post to.
• Network graph, rebuilt: it moves like a living thing now. Nodes never overlap, the web settles instead of snapping into place, and you can press and hold any person to drag them — their connections stretch and follow.
• Tap someone and their network gathers around them: direct connections pull in close, second-degree settles into a ring behind them, everyone else fades back.
• Company and topic circles no longer sit on top of the people inside them.
• Antifeed, redesigned end to end — clean, readable pages instead of stacked boxes, with the post you're reading finally the loudest thing on screen.
• Watch a post earn its "hand-typed" mark as you write: one line that fills with your typing and settles when it's proven.
• The composer stays out of the way until you want it, so you land on the feed.
• Fixed: comments were unreadable through the feed behind them.
Thanks for using Octograf and keep the feedback coming.
1.9.0 Jul 25
All-new design across the app — a calmer, frosted, water-inspired interface.

Network graph: search takes center stage — type any keyword and watch your network reshape around it, showing who's connected and how many.
Today: redesigned action cards that make overdue items and the person behind each reminder clear at a glance.

3. Edge tap — relationship sentence + "What they share": shared company/group/university chips and "They both know …".
