Store development secrets locally, add context with per-key notes, and opt into end-to-end encrypted iCloud sync when you need it. Keep the API keys, tokens and credentials you use for development together in a protected local vault. SecretKit encrypts secret values with AES-256-GCM and unlocks with Touch ID or your computer password. Organize credentials by project, client or environment, so sensitive values do not end up in plaintext files, browser tabs or chat threads. BUILT FOR DEVELOPMENT WORK • Store API keys, access tokens, database credentials, SSH keys, signing keys and environment variables • Group secrets into projects • Add an optional note to each key for context • Copy values when needed; the clipboard clears automatically after a short delay • Choose Relaxed, Standard or Strict security, including project- and action-level unlocks • Lock automatically after inactivity PRIVATE BY DEFAULT Your vault is stored locally. No account is required, and SecretKit does not collect analytics or telemetry. OPTIONAL ENCRYPTED SYNC Enable optional iCloud sync to access projects on your other Mac computers. Projects, key metadata and secret values are end-to-end encrypted before syncing. Sync is off by default. SECRET DATA, PROTECTED Encryption keys are protected in the system keychain. Metadata is encrypted on disk, and secret data is cleared from memory after use.
