v2.0.6 — see who's really behind it: • New "Where it comes from" card: who owns the brand, where the product was made, and where its barcode was registered — each clearly labelled. • The barcode country is no longer shown as the country of origin. A barcode only tells you where the number was registered. • Country preferences can now apply to the owner's country, where it was made, or both — and cover more countries.

When a product can't be identified, the app now says so plainly instead of showing a placeholder with a made-up name. The country of origin is still shown when the barcode reveals it. Repeat scans of the same product are much faster.

Performance and reliability improvements behind the scenes. Thanks for using ProductWho!

This update sharpens accuracy where it matters most: • More reliable allergen detection — including tree nuts, dairy/lactose, and gluten • Better halal & alcohol detection (non-alcoholic drinks are no longer mis-flagged) • More dependable offline access to products you've scanned • Your favorites are kept when you clear the cache, plus a cleaner scan history Many of these came straight from your reports — thank you, and keep them coming.
