Reliable sharing Sharing the ZIP package, PDF report, CSV export and receipt photos works again, including on the latest system versions. You approve what you see If the other parent changed an expense in the meantime, the app lets you know and loads its current version before you approve it. Receipt in another currency When a receipt is in a different currency than the case, the amount is not pre-filled and the app points out the difference. A complete package for your lawyer or the court Every receipt in the ZIP package is checked against its checksum, and the manifest shows for each file whether it is intact. An incomplete package is clearly marked. Your records stay complete If the other parent deletes their account, the shared case stays complete for you — expenses, receipts, approvals and settlements — and you can still view and export it. Fixes The automatic approval period now runs from the last change to an expense. If data cannot be refreshed, the app clearly says so. Sync is reliable even with a long expense history.

Instant notifications When the other parent adds, approves or disputes an expense, or proposes a settlement, you know right away. Tap the notification to open that expense or settlement directly. We also let you know a day ahead when an expense is about to be approved automatically. Remind the other parent Remind the other parent of an unsettled balance or of expenses that have been waiting for approval, with a single tap. Every reminder is recorded, including whether it was seen, and shows up in the history and in the PDF report. More reliable receipt sharing Sharing a receipt from another app into Duo is now smooth — the case picker always appears and the app you shared from no longer freezes afterwards. We also added minor stability fixes.

Your complete evidence bundle in one tap The new export creates a single file with everything you might need for a lawyer, mediator or court — a clear report, a spreadsheet of expenses and all your receipts together. Every expense has its own reference number and its receipts share the same code, so each item is easy to match with its document. It also includes a quiet check that no receipt was altered afterwards. The app opens instantly From the second launch, your cases and expenses load right away and new changes sync in the background. Transitions are smoother and there is no waiting for data to load. Fixed an empty statistics screen Statistics no longer show up as a blank grey screen for periods with no approved expenses.

Scan receipts right in the app When attaching a receipt to an expense, you now have a new option — Scan receipt — alongside Take photo and Gallery. The app detects the edges of the receipt in real time, lets you fine-tune the corners, and offers 6 filters in the preview: Original, Auto, Document, Grayscale, Black & white, and Lighten. Handy when the receipt is faded or the lighting isn't great. The scanner works fully offline. Preview before saving Tap a newly attached receipt to open it in full preview (image and PDF) before you save the expense.

Bank receipt to expense in one tap Just share a PDF payment confirmation from your banking app to Duo and the app automatically suggests the amount, currency, date, description and category. No more manual typing. You can turn auto-fill off anytime in Settings → Privacy. Free account: 10 auto-fills, Duo Plus: unlimited. Statistics A new screen with an overview: how much you and your partner paid, breakdown by category, who-pays-what, and trend over the last 6 months. Redesigned PDF export A complete audit-style document — all expenses, disputes and settlements in chronological order with a legal disclaimer. Suitable as supporting material for a lawyer or court. Free accounts can generate a PDF preview with demo data; the full export is part of Duo Plus. Clearer expense list The filters (All, Pending, Approved, Disputed) now show the number of items in each category.
