Fierce Writer
Write without hesitation
$0.99 · In‑App Purchases
Fierce Writer has only one simple rule: if you don’t write anything in 10 seconds (or even 5 seconds), everything you’ve written before will be totally erased. Also, copying is disabled until you finish the writing session.
It forces you to keep writing and helps you overcome procrastination.
Fierce Writer also gets you into a psychological state called Flow, making writing more fun. In this writing flow, ideas and creativity come more easily.
You hesitate, then ideas stall. But write fiercely? Ideas flow through your fingers.
The Philosophy: Why it works
Fierce Writer hacks the human brain by shifting you from slow, critical thinking to a fast, instinctive state.
Based on Daniel Kahneman’s research on the two modes of the human mind: System 1 (fast, intuitive) and System 2 (slow, logical)
The traditional system 2 writing trap: While writing, most time we try to use system 2 thinking. It is slow and analytical, making us constantly asking ourselves, "Is this word perfect?" and causes writer's block.
switching to the instinctive system 1 writing: System 1 is fast and creative but is not activated in traditional writing ways.By forcing you to keep writing, we reactivate system 1, make writing more creative, and let ideas flow.
Try Fierce Writer, find your flow, unleash the writing beast inside yourself.
