New: every Aanvi feature is free for 14 days. No card needed. Create your baby's profile and you're in. This update also moves Aanvi onto a newer foundation, with stability fixes throughout.

Faster and smoother. Aanvi opens quicker from cold, and the milestones grid and timeline scroll smoothly even with lots of photos. Memories stay live only in the view you have open, so the app does less work in the background. Languages and images now load on demand, which keeps the app lighter. On This Day works better for families with several babies.

Aanvi now speaks 15 languages. Japanese, Korean, Traditional Chinese, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, Swedish and Polish join English. The app picks the language for your region, and you can change it any time in Settings. Notifications and emails arrive in your language too. Saving on a weak connection is more dependable. Stalled uploads pick up where they left off, and a video still posts if its preview fails. The milestones tab is now a baby book grid with a clear way to add a first.

The feed is faster and lighter. Photos load at the size the card needs, the app opens quicker, and scrolling no longer drains your battery. Comments on a photo carousel now show on the memory card whichever photo they were left on, and tapping them opens the thread. Editing a carousel updates every photo in it. Video previews fill the screen.

Your own comments can now be edited or deleted right from the thread. Long captions show a "more" tap instead of getting cut off. Videos have a clear mute button. Photo carousels swipe right in the feed. And a memory now credits everyone who was there, not just whoever posted it.

Memories now open full screen. Photos and videos appear at their natural shape, over a soft blur of their own colors. The home screen is calmer. The tab bar is smaller, adding a memory sits right inside it, and your photos get all the room.

A warmer welcome when your journal is still empty, so the first page feels like a beginning. Your family page now shows everyone's real profile photo. The app opens faster and no longer stalls at launch on a slow connection. Signing out now properly clears notifications from that device.

Comments have replies now. Tap reply on any comment and it threads underneath, so a long conversation about one photo stays easy to follow. You get a notification when someone replies to you, not just when they comment. The timeline has a month strip across the top. It runs from your baby's birth month to this one, so you can move through the year without landing on months that don't exist yet. You can favorite a memory now, and your favorites stay yours. Nobody else in the family sees what you saved. Cards have a download button too, so a photo or video goes straight to your phone. Fixed a bug that could show the paywall to someone who was already subscribed. The album picker opens dark to match the camera instead of flashing a white panel over your photos. Empty screens have illustrations now instead of blank space, and a few screens no longer hide their last row behind the tab bar.

Home is an album page now. Your baby's age is written out in words, their photograph sits inside a ring that fills toward the next month birthday, and the counts below it are all tappable. The timeline shows who posted each memory, who liked it, and the first few comments. The home screen widget now shows your latest memory. It had been stuck on a placeholder, and that is fixed. Small and medium widget sizes are here too, so you can pick the one that fits your home screen. Liking a comment saves the first time you tap it.

Joining a family is easier. The invite code screen now scrolls, so the keyboard can no longer cover the button, and you can tap Done on the keyboard to join. Invites now last 30 days instead of 7, so family who take a while to get around to it can still get in.

Save any memory to your phone. Open a memory, tap the new save button, and the original photo or video goes straight to your camera roll. Sharing now sends the actual photo or video instead of a link, so it arrives in full quality wherever you send it. The home screen widget no longer goes blank when you open the app. Your latest memory stays where you left it.

Google Photos import now works the way it should. Bring across the photos you already have, including the ones your iPhone saves as HEIC, and they arrive the right way up. Milestones has been rebuilt around what comes next. The screen opens on the first your little one is closest to reaching, with quick filters to browse every category. Invite your family by email right from the welcome flow, so your memories are shared from the very first photo. Reminders now arrive at the right time for wherever you are. Larger families fit properly in alerts and in the baby picker, and removing a milestone no longer celebrates on the way out.

Pick photos straight from a specific album instead of scrolling your whole library. See exactly who loved a memory, and know who a like or comment came from by name. Videos stuck on "needs a retry" can finally be cleared. Tap Discard on the sync banner and the reminder goes for good. The home screen widget no longer sits blank waiting for your latest memory. Smoother, more consistent sheets throughout the app.

Your photo library now shows up newest first, ordered by the day each photo was actually taken. Video uploads are fixed. Clips finish reliably now, including longer ones, and they show up for your family. Milestones and family screens load a lot faster. Plus a round of polish across the app.
