Small fixes and improvements to keep Calmly running smoothly.

Opening a link to a friend's flashcard deck now asks you first, so a deck is only added when you say yes. Also a few small fixes behind the scenes.

Your week is now free for good: Today, your timetable, deadlines with the countdown, reminders and four brain games. Calmly Plus, monthly or yearly, adds the exam tools: a revision plan that fits around your classes, your test week from a paste or a photo, and grades in your school's system with what you need next. Also new: your next exam leads Today, Next up on the iPhone lock screen, and your plan works offline.

A calmer start. Calmly now begins with the one thing you came for: your next exam or deadline, with its countdown on Today and a reminder the day before. Homework and assignments are new deadline types you can tick off, exams finally show on the calendar, and you can add one without setting up a subject first. Sign in with Apple or Google is coming, and a new welcome gets you in faster.

New: steps on the way to an exam or assignment. Break a big deadline into smaller steps, each with its own date, and tick them off as you go. The next step's countdown now leads in Study and on Today, because three days until chapter 4 is easier to start on than 17 days until the exam. Tap Spread it over the weeks for evenly spaced steps, ask for a reminder that morning, and if a step slips, move it to tomorrow.

Getting started is smoother. If you sign in before confirming your email, Calmly now tells you so in your own language and lets you send the confirmation email again, with a short countdown so it always goes through. The sign-up screen offers the same, plus a reminder to check your spam folder. On iPhone, the App Store now shows all seven languages the app speaks.

A few small additions. You can now rate Calmly Student straight from Settings, and after a few days of use we may ask once, right after a good moment like finishing a focus session or ticking off your last habit of the day. Settings also has a short list of other apps from Studio Barbanson, the small studio behind Calmly, if you're curious what else we make.

A smoother first week. New accounts no longer get stopped by a trial-ended screen after the introduction. Setting up classes is easier: pick the exact days each one runs, remove one you added by mistake, and we ask about class reminders before your phone does. Your calendar now lists what's coming up, habits have a home on Wellbeing, and example events are gone, so your planner only shows what's really yours.

A fix for habit reminders. If you had more than one habit set to the same time, they nudged you more than once at that moment. Now habits that share a reminder time arrive as one gentle reminder, and a habit only reminds you if you asked it to. Calmer mornings, as intended.

Getting started is now a taste of the app, not a tour. Set up in a moment, then try a few things your way: decorate today, a quick brain game, a breath, a mood, a mini focus timer, a budget, a habit with an optional daily reminder. Play what you like and skip the rest. You can also pick any colour you like with a full colour wheel, so it feels like yours from the very first minute.

If you designed your own colour theme, it now travels with your account. Reinstall the app or sign in on a new phone and Calmly brings back the exact shade you picked, instead of starting over.

Make your week yours. Once your timetable is set, Calmly now invites you to add a cover photo, choose a look you love and drop a few stickers, so your planner feels like yours and stays a place you want to come back to. You can personalize any time from the You tab.

Setting up your week now turns on your class reminders in one step, right where you add your timetable, so you never have to go hunting for a setting. Add a class and Calmly quietly reminds you before it starts. You can turn reminders off any time.

Class reminders now work the way they should. Add a class to your week and Calmly quietly reminds you 10 minutes before it starts, every week, so a full timetable actually keeps you on time. You can turn reminders off any time.

Set up your week in about a minute. Add the classes you have every week and Calmly puts each one on your calendar for the whole term, then quietly reminds you before each one starts. New here? Your first run now begins with your own timetable, so Today already looks like your week.

When your 7 day free trial ends, Calmly now invites you to subscribe to keep full access to your planner, habits, study tools and wellbeing. Everything you have created stays safe, and you can restore a previous purchase anytime.

A calmer first run. Setting up now walks you through choosing your very first habit, with a gentle daily reminder if you want one, so your planner opens with something that is truly yours instead of examples to tidy away.

Cover photos, improved. Add up to four to a cover and they take turns, a different one each day, each shown full size instead of as a thumbnail. Every photo can now be edited, and you can pick which one leads.
