Vinny, your AI sommelier, now keeps an eye on your collection.  • Collection watch: once a week Vinny leaves a few notes in his screen: bottles entering or about to leave their drinking window (with a "last call" when it is now or never), a Wine of the week picked from your own coolers, and a heads-up when you are down to the last bottle of a wine you loved. A small dot on his tab tells you there is something new. Switch it on or off in Settings › Vinny. • Serve-ready advice: ask Vinny what to open and he points to the bottle that is already at serving temperature, tells you where it lies, and suggests where to move the next one. • Collection clean-up: Vinny spots vintages typed into names, producers hidden in names, spelling variants of the same wine and details that disagree between bottles of one wine. Review his suggestions one by one and apply what you like. Nothing changes without your say-so. Tap "Check my collection" any time. • Drinking windows: a window is only suggested for wines with a vintage (non-vintage wines excepted). Type the vintage and ask for a suggestion straight away.

What's new in version 1.8.0 Automatic drinking window When adding a wine, the app now automatically suggests the ideal drinking window based on wine type, vintage, and region. No manual input needed — the suggestion appears directly in the wine details. Freemium AI credits AI-powered features like label scanning, background removal, and drinking window suggestions are now part of a credit system. Free users receive 50 AI credits per month. When the limit is reached, you'll see a clear prompt with the option to upgrade to Premium. Improved AI error feedback AI features that previously failed silently will now always show a clear message — so you'll know straight away if something didn't work, such as background removal or a drinking window suggestion.
