I really like the Oddly app - it’s a fresh and creative concept. The way it compares temperatures is especially cool and makes it stand out from typical weather apps.One feature that would make it even better is adding a “feels like” temperature. That would give a more realistic sense of how the weather actually feels outside.Overall, great app with a lot of potential!

I’ve wanted an app like this for years. Now it’s very easy to see how today’s temperature compares to the average, without having to dig up historical data.

…implementation is wrong. My city shows in the app a +19° increase from “normal” temperatures. Wrong. Historical year data shows that current temperature is ok. I don’t know if the app has official data sources or are simply random numbers to make the app looks “fun”, but currently it’s not reliable. Nice UI though.

Thank you for the review! It seems there's some locations that have bad average data from WeatherKit. I've added a way to check if the averages are very out of the ordinary and then use another source to compare. This should hopefully be resolved in 1.2.1 which was released today!

Great weather app. Very smooth and well designed. I find that its focus on how the temperature compares to the average in prior years both unique and useful!
Morning odd-weather alerts — the big one. Oddly now checks your forecast every morning and taps you on the shoulder when today will be oddly warmer or colder than normal. No need to open the app, alerts arrive even if you haven't checked in for weeks.
• Enable alerts in Settings, then send yourself a test to see them work instantly
• Oddly+ members can tune the threshold: from "tell me when it's a bit odd" (±7°) to "only wake me for What even?!" (±20°)
