OffChat is an AI travel assistant that keeps working when the internet doesn't. Prepare while you're online, then use everything offline: ask questions, check your flight and hotel details, convert prices and show key phrases to locals. GET READY BEFORE YOU FLY • A "Ready to fly" checklist shows what is saved on your iPhone and what still needs internet. • The assistant runs on your device: Apple Intelligence when available, or OffChat's own offline model (a one-time 1.1 GB download on Wi‑Fi). AN ASSISTANT THAT KNOWS YOUR TRIP • Save your destination, dates, flights, accommodation and notes. • Share a booking confirmation from Mail or Safari straight into your trip. • Ask "Summarize my trip plan" or "What should I pack?" and get answers based on what you saved. PLAN ONLINE, USE IT OFFLINE • When you're connected, the assistant finds real places with Apple Maps — names, addresses and coordinates — for your itinerary. • Save the answer to your trip: plans and places stay on your iPhone for when you're offline. TRAVEL TOOLS THAT WORK OFFLINE • Currency converter with the latest European Central Bank reference rates saved on your device. • Translation with Apple's on-device translation (download the language before you go). • Essential phrases for restaurants, taxis, hotels and emergencies, saved in your destination's language and shown in large text. QUICK ACCESS • Widget with your readiness and trip countdown. • Siri and Shortcuts: "Ask OffChat", "Convert currency with OffChat", "Is OffChat ready to fly?" PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Offline, answers are generated on your iPhone or iPad. Your chats, trips and phrases are stored only on your device. • Online mode (you can turn it off) searches places with Apple Maps and, on iOS 27, can use Apple's Private Cloud Compute. • Optional anonymous usage statistics never include what you type. GOOD TO KNOW • Requires iOS 26 or later. • The assistant can't check live information such as flight status, weather or prices. For visas and entry rules, confirm with official sources. • Exchange rates are reference rates; card and exchange-office rates will differ.
