Bug fixes and performance improvements.

Joining a shared list works again, and invites now show whose list you're joining. New: ready-made Thanksgiving and Christmas lists, widgets you can check items off from, and a Running low? card for staples you're due to buy. Prices and store aisle order now remember themselves, you can paste a whole list from another app, and you can choose the name your group sees without making an account.

New shopping mode keeps your screen awake, makes items bigger and pins your running total. Swipe right to check items off. The things you buy most now show up as one-tap suggestions, you can bring back everything from your last trip, and you can add several items at once by separating them with commas. Group lists can now notify members when someone starts or finishes shopping or adds items. Your special lists moved to a Trackers section on Home, and lists look cleaner.

You can now rate ListHarbor anytime from Help & Support with the new Rate the App row. The rating prompt is also less intrusive: it now appears only after you check off the last item on a list yourself or add an item that reaches a milestone, never just from opening a list.

Custom categories now work with groups. When you add a category, choose whether it stays on your phone or is shared with one of your groups, and every member sees the ones you add, rename or reorder. New categories show up in the lists of their shop type, and Search and templates show the right name and emoji for each. Also fixed: the keyboard hiding the Create button when making a group, and screen readers now announce which filter is selected.

Special lists got a big upgrade. Subscriptions track free trials, show yearly totals and let you choose when renewal reminders arrive. Gift Ideas adds prices, a gift budget and grouping by person. Returns tracks refunds and reminds you when one is late. Store Credits logs what you spend, and Future Wants flags a good price. Removing a price now syncs everywhere, Export Data includes all your list details, and the Premium screen shows exactly what Premium adds.

Screen readers now name every accent color in Preferences, not just the selected one, and announce which accent color and list emoji you have picked. This update also brings security and stability improvements under the hood.

You can now set a preferred brand for anyone in your group, and Brand Preferences shows one row per product with everyone's pick under it. This update also improves accessibility, with stronger color contrast in light and dark mode (every accent color included) and clearer screen reader labels on list items. In some regions the app now asks before collecting usage analytics. Also fixes a stray backslash before apostrophes.

You can now set a preferred brand for someone else in your group — pick their name and record what they like, so one person can capture everyone's picks. Items on a list show every member's preference, not just yours. The Add Preference screen also handles the keyboard properly now: the buttons stay in view and the Next key moves you from field to field. Choosing a member adds their preference alongside yours rather than replacing it.

You can now save the brand you prefer for any product — Heinz for ketchup, say — along with a photo and alternate names. Items on your lists show a star when you have a preference, and tapping one shows the brand. In a group, everyone sees each other's picks and who chose them. Shared list invites now open the app directly instead of stopping at the browser, and the home screen widget installs properly again.

Organize now shows a red attention chip when a list has something expired or due today, so urgent items stand out from ones due later in the week.

Gift ideas can now have an occasion date, with reminders 14 and 3 days before it, every year. Auto-delete for checked items now works on your own lists, and Organize shows which lists need attention. Deadline chips look the same across returns, subscriptions and store credits, and dates follow your device's language. Also fixes list counts that included crossed-off items.

Fixes a bug that could close the app without warning on iPhone and iPad when something went wrong in the background — it now shows a brief message and keeps going. Crash reports are also stripped of personal data before they leave your device.

Performance and stability improvements.

Fixes the rating prompt on iPhone, which previously never appeared. Also includes behind-the-scenes improvements to list sharing and routine maintenance updates.

Text across ListHarbor is now easier to read. We retoned colours that were too faint against their background — most noticeably in dark mode, where the accent colour, unselected tab labels and status badges on Returns, Subscriptions, Store Credits and Gift Ideas were hard to make out. Group and store labels now pick their text colour to suit the colour behind them, so a group on a light colour stays readable, and the colour pickers work properly with a screen reader.

ListHarbor is now completely ad-free for everyone. We removed all banner ads and the advertising SDK across the app, so your lists load cleaner and faster with nothing in the way.

Special lists are easier to use. Adding to Gift Ideas, Returns, Subscriptions, Store Credits and Future Wants now only asks for a name up front, with the extra details a tap away and Delete right in the edit screen. Returns can attach a receipt photo from your camera or library, Store Credits check off as you spend them and keep your card number hidden, and amounts show in your local currency. The subscriptions monthly-cost total is also more accurate.

Checked-off items now get out of your way while you shop. The moment you check something off, it moves to a "Checked off" section at the bottom of the list, so what's left to find stays front and center. When a whole category is done, it disappears from the list body entirely. Tap the section header to collapse or expand it, and use "Clear checked items" to empty it when you're done.

Fixing an item's name now cleans up its tagging. If you rename a mistyped item on your list, it's automatically sorted into the right store and aisle — just like when you first add it — so a typo no longer leaves it stuck uncategorized. Any category you set yourself is always kept.

Store aisles now tag items reliably: add a category like Coffee & Tea to a store, then add coffee or tea to a list, and it's tagged to that store as expected. Quick-added items are sorted into each store's own aisle layout so they match your aisle defaults, and the aisle on/off switch — now clearly labeled "Auto-tag" — works the way it should. And when you've saved an item to a store with a specific category, it now keeps that category when you add it to a list instead of an auto-guessed one.

Three big additions this update. Recipe import: paste a link to any recipe and ListHarbor pulls the ingredients into a ready-to-shop list. Home-screen widgets: see your active list at a glance. Add by voice: tell Siri "Add to ListHarbor" to jump straight into a list with your item ready. Plus the usual round of polish.

Sharing a list is easier: invites now include a tappable link that opens ListHarbor right to the invitation, or helps people who don't have the app yet install it first. Plus a round of behind-the-scenes fixes and polish.

We tidied the Account screen and improved shared-list sync reliability behind the scenes.
