Wait, What?
News, Not Noise
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Only the news that matters, with context. Built for realistic attention spans.
Your attention is limited. The news isn’t.
There’s more news than ever, but keeping up with it shouldn’t feel like a full-time job. Wait, What? is built for people who want to stay informed without spending hours scrolling through headlines, reading the same story from five different places, or trying to piece together context on their own.
Wait, What? curates the important stories across politics, business and technology, and brings everything you need to understand them into one place.
Instead of an endless stream of disconnected headlines, stories are organized into timelines that show you what happened, what changed and how we got here. Get the context behind each story through background, key stakeholders, Q&As and analysis, without having to search for it.
Short on time? Use Quick Read to get the essentials. Want to understand something properly? Switch to Detailed and go deeper. You decide how much attention a story deserves.
Wait, What? also checks important claims against available sources, helping you see what the evidence supports and where the information comes from.
No endless feed to keep up with. No information overload. Just the stories that matter, the context you need, and the freedom to go deeper.
Wait, What? is news built for a world with too much information and too little attention.
