Peared connects optometrists and practices for flexible fill-in shifts.
Whether you’re picking up an extra shift or looking for last-minute coverage, Peared makes fill-in work simple, transparent, and fast.
FOR OPTOMETRISTS:
• Pick up shifts when you want, where you want — no minimums, no pressure
• Completely free for fill-in ODs
• See everything upfront: tech support, patient flow, EHR, equipment, hours, and pay
• Request or instantly book shifts that fit your schedule
• Track earnings and manage upcoming shifts right in the app
• Get paid quickly — through Peared (often within 2 business days) or directly by the practice
• Chat with practices and build trust through reviews
FOR PRACTICES:
• Post fill-in shifts in minutes — and Peared promotes them for you
• Get qualified optometrist talent on demand
• Manage bookings and streamline scheduling in one place
• Fill shifts faster with less back-and-forth
• Message ODs directly in-app
• Cut down on admin work and keep your clinic running smoothly
• Let Peared handle issuing tax forms (if paid through Peared)
Why Choose Peared?
Because fill-in work shouldn’t be complicated. Peared is built just for optometry, so ODs and practices can connect fast, book with confidence, and keep schedules moving — without the headache.
