What's New in 1.2.1: A stability and privacy release. No new screens, just fixes to things that were misbehaving. FIXED - Deleting your account from Settings works again. It had been failing on every previous version. - Saved trip itineraries no longer come back empty. - Event times now show correctly no matter what timezone your device is set to, and articles, deals and ratings no longer show a blank date. - Changing filters or searching no longer leaves the wrong results on screen in Attractions, Hotels, Articles or the map. - Face ID and Touch ID now re-lock the app properly after it sits idle. - Tab taps give the haptic feedback they were supposed to. IMPROVED - Smoother scrolling through photos that aren't cached yet. - Crash diagnostics no longer store anything traceable back to your account. - New content categories added on our side no longer stop a screen from loading.

POLISHED, FASTER, MORE RELIABLE This update is all about making Des Moines Insider smoother and more dependable. SECURITY & PRIVACY - Strengthened the app's secure connection to keep your account and data protected. - Added an extra lock check when you return to the app with Face ID or Touch ID enabled. Thanks for using Des Moines Insider! Keep the feedback coming — it shapes what we build next.

What's New in Des Moines Insider 1.1.14 Spotlight Search Events and restaurants are now indexed in iOS Spotlight — search for "jazz concert" or "sushi" from your home screen and jump straight to the listing. Push Notifications & Deep Links Tapping a notification or a link from email and the web now takes you directly to the right event, restaurant, or screen inside the app. No more landing on the home page and hunting. Ask Pulse Upgrade Prompt When you hit your free-tier AI question limit, Ask Pulse now shows a clear upgrade prompt instead of a generic error. Insider and VIP members get the full experience. Trip Planner Access Free users now see a soft "try Insider" nudge after using Trip Planner, instead of hitting a hard paywall immediately. Try it, see the value, then decide. Faster Feeds Changing multiple filters at once (clearing presets, applying a new category) now triggers a single refresh instead of several — noticeably snappier on slower connections. Accessibility Improvements VoiceOver users get better support across the app: favorites toggle state is announced, filter chips read their selection state, toasts stay visible longer, and the filter sheet announces slider values correctly. Image Retry Images that fail to load now show a tap-to-retry state instead of a blank placeholder. Bug Fixes & Stability General reliability improvements, better error recovery, and auth form improvements including labeled show/hide password toggles.
